America the Right Way (The Weekend Edition)-Staying Vigilant-20 months left June 11-12, 2011 -Remember 9/11

We are in deep trouble. Obama believes he can fix the economy.

Yeah, right. We should trust him?

O said, “The good news is, when it comes to job-creation and economic growth, there are certain things we know we can do. One thing government can do is partner with the private sector to make sure that every worker has the necessary skills for the jobs theyโ€™re applying for.”

Make it go away. I pray the voters give this guy the hook in 2012.

lysie!! I’ll be able to start the new week’s thread…all well here, but too cool…no sun…sigh…

    • Jemian says:

Welcome back, Molly! Sorry about the no sun bit. Yesterday, we had a very good rain. And, it looks like we’ll have another rain tomorrow.

    • lysie says:

      OK, Molly Thanks.

I’m still laughing over the new young chickens. Once in a while I will feed them leftover bread, fruit and other things. Just now was the first time they had leftover corn on the cob. There was more cob than corn, but it was their expressions that got me laughing. They stared at the cobs for at least 10 minutes…cocking their heads this way and that ..wondering …WHAT are we supposed to do with those. Haha. As you can see, it doesn’t take much to humor me.

Now that I think of it, maybe they were thinking….where’s the butter? ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • lysie says:

Cool here, too, and rain. We needed the rain, but the forecast is rain for the next few days, too.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

      Hey Jemian…This weather!

Want to tell you about a young woman I met this weekend. She’s seeing one of the young cousins in the family, and just spent a few weeks In China doing missionary work. Pretty remarkable. I’m hoping to spend more time with her later in the summer.

    • Jemian says:

That is so cool! I admire those who go into “closed” countries. I pray the Lord will multiply her work greatly.

  2. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

All, this was in the events section of the Syracuse.com webpage.
Please read it and tell me what you think.

There are multiple opportunities to enjoy most of this weekend’s top recommendations. St. Sophia’s Greek Cultural Festival in DeWitt begins Thursday and runs through Sunday, Balloonfest runs Friday through Sunday in Jamesville and the Polish Festival will fill Clinton Square Friday through Sunday. But there’s only one day for the Duck Race to End Racism: Saturday.

Please pray for Toby. He has an infection or something like that in his left eye the last ten days. He’s having to wear a patch over it to protect and rest it. I bet he looks like a swashbuckling pirate!

Yep, government can partner with the private sector and REALLY help this country down the tubes. Look what government has done to the post office, hired a bunch of bureaucrats who travelled first class to 5-star resort areas around the world to hold meetings, this included their “staff”. Yep with government in partnership with someone who’s begun a business with stockholders who will end up like GM stockholders, the business will be forced into a union partnership, with the union telling the private business how to run their business, how to treat their employees, pay the union $? for advice and force the business out of business or to turn to another country. Yep, partnership with the government will be a great thing for this country to end up like a third world country. nobama’s plan.

    Good morning everyone.
