Good morning everyone and Merry Christmas.

    Merry Christmas, everyone!
May you find what you were hoping for under the tree, and may your New Year be grand!!

Sorry I have not been around lately. One of my resolutions is to get myself here more often. That, and if Ron Paul is the GOP candidate, to disavow Republicans forever….;-)

Thanks lysie .. and Merry Christmas everyone! Sunny and just a tad chilly on a VA Christmas Eve morn. Everyone but us chickens has left town, and that’s a good thing. Quiet, no traffic. Heaven.

Very disappointing about Gingrich and Perry not making the VA GOP primary ballot. Waiting to hear further about write-ins. Read somewhere that no write-ins for primary, then Newt announced he’ll wage a write-in campaign, so that remains to be seen. Either that or I save gas on 3/6/12. This might be the first election, primary or general, since I first registered that I’d miss.

Since we celebrated our family Christmas last week, it’s going to be very quiet, very low key around here, and that also is a good thing. Hope all of you have a very blessed Christmas.

We’re wrapping up a fairly quiet day before leaving for church. We had a nice dinner out with friends last night…a new to us restaurant which had been recommended, and indeed, it was a hit.

The VA primary ballot mess just doesn’t make sense to me. Are these people serious about running or not…
