America the Right Way -Staying Vigilant-7 months left July 23, 2012 – July 27, 2012 Remember 9/11

Hello everyone.

Sadly, the disturbing news from Aurora, Colorado continues to preoccupy our hearts and minds. A strong case for premeditated, long-planned mass murder will apparently be made.

Prayers for all those particularly affected and the community as a whole are offered.

OH YUM…After the funeral, we’ll stop by Chick’s for something. I’ve never tried anything from them. Hopefully we Christians can show those funny people..we’re stronger than them.

  1. Molly Pitcher says:

To fear God is the beginning of wisdom…which the Left certainly doesn’t have.

I’m thinking the Left fears that God DOES exist..

  2. lysie says:

Flooded roads near you, Molly. Now I’m starting to be concerned.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

We’re fine! We had company for awhile…meant to check in this a.m. but distracted.

We sure got some rain! I can now do some weeding…easily!

  3. lysie says:

Molly, hope you are all right. Quiet a few tornado warnings in your state and ours. Stay safe.

  4. lysie says:

theophobia 1. The fear or dislike of gods or religion. 2. An abnormal fear of the wrath of God or of God’s punishment for sin.

  5. The Raven says:

By golly Miss Molly, I found it….” Theophobia “

  6. The Raven says:

Is there a word for the Dem’s fear of Christians? Godphobic? Fil-A-Phobic?

  7. lysie says:

Ooooh, ooooh! Have a peach milkshake for me. Yum, yum!

  8. Molly Pitcher says:

You’re darn right: Chick Fil A, here we come!

Local tv stations reporting an income bonanza via political ads….and it’s only July!

  9. Prairie says:

F-i-l is quite weak (expected). 36 hours post-op he’s having to receive another transfusion (not unexpected although we were hoping that wouldn’t be the case)

He’s got a lot of edema now, after the shockiness during OR….diuretics also being given. Lungs clear so far. BP better.
    The waiting and seeing continues…….

  10. lysie says:

Gosh! Do we remember when ESPN (ABC sports- Disney) pulled Hank Williams Jr. Monday Night Football opening and issued this statement?:

“While Hank Williams, Jr. is not an ESPN employee, we recognize that he is closely linked to our company through the open to Monday Night Football. We are extremely disappointed with his comments, and as a result we have decided to pull the open from tonight’s telecast.”

All of that because of Hank saying Obama’s outing on the links with House Speaker John Boehner: “It’d be like Hitler playing golf with Netanyahu.”

I’m expecting the same treatment for Ross and Stephienopeulous.

  11. lysie says:

Sarah had a few financial issues witht the college . They have since been resolved. The college charged her for health insurance. She told them that she have her own health insurance through WalMart. Through the college it was a considerable amount.

2016: Obama’s America movie opens and needs more venues

    • lysie says:

So far that’s not playing in our area. Darn! Then again, I’ve always been afraid of horror movies. /s Sometimes reality is worse than fiction.

  13. Molly Pitcher says:

    Thanks lysie

prayers for all who need them.

    So Sarah’s doing well?

  14. Prairie says:

Tillacum, so sorry to read of your bil’s passing. Condolensces to you and hubby.

My f-i-l had to be rushed to surgery this morning. Large ulcer, NSAID induced (very large) …hopefully the less radical procedure that the surgeon did will do the trick and we can avoid the extremely radical resection that was a possibility. At 87, no surgery is a great option. But he’s made it through that, now time will tell. Thanks to all for their kind words.

  15. lysie says:

Yes. We do have solar lights. We put them to good use.

  16. tillacum says:

Do you have solar lights, to light up your yard or driveway at night? They come in handy during a power out in the house.

  17. Molly Pitcher says:

I saw that on the radar!

We may get rain today…soon……husband has to hurry out to mow…doesn’t seem to be hurrying tho 🙂

  18. Prairie says:

Hi Molly and lysie and everybody. I’ve been missing in action, my fil is hospitalized, he’s been in the ICU since Sunday night. Hopefully things are starting to stabilize but he has a long way to go. We are desperately hoping to avoid surgery at his age of 87.

Will check in as able, and as always thanks for the links that help me stay somewhat plugged into the news. Prayers continue for the CO shooting victims.
