Romney will give a major foreign policy speech tomorrow a few days ahead of the Vice-Presidential Debate later in the week.

Signs amid the polls show a burgeoning Romney bump.

And what can we expect of 0 in the next debate, hmmm??

Looking at the polls today….Senate tossups in OH, WI, MA, NM, MO…..all leaning D

  2. Jemian says:

I pick the flight to Singapore.

  3. The Raven says:

    Fun Quote from

Nightmare Scenario 1: You are trapped in traction at
Mt. Sinai with Joe in the next bed. 2.You are on a flight from NY
to Singapore and find Joe is in the next seat. 3…….

  4. The Raven says:

We had long left the garden go to weeds….Last week I spotted a hot pepper still growing. Must have benn there for months. Anyway it was so hot (Audience: “How hot was it?”) that I burned my twinkies.

  5. The Raven says:

Looks like the 4 swing states will decide. And when we get this close… is advantage voter fraud. Really, really depressing. On the optimistic side is the Dick Morris comment that undecideds go for the challenger.

  6. lysie says:

    Ack! Biden is rude!!!!!!!

  7. lysie says:

Yes, Molly. Luckily the three little pigs just loosened the sod in several areas. I was able to kick and stomp them back in place.

  8. Molly Pitcher says:

Did you get your property cleaned up ok?

  9. lysie says:

    Rainy, cool day here. Brrr!

  10. The Raven says:

Less than a month!! We have a tea party billboard here on the highway i take to work. Says “Obama or America – You can’t have both”

And yo ho there Lysie and Molly… that Pennsylvania allows you to vote more than once…you can swing over there (maybe even early voting) and vote in a few counties. Need to counter the disenfranchisers

    • lysie says:

Now, there’s a thought. We could make a day of it. ; -) Have lunch. Vote. Shop a bit. Vote. Ha!

    • Molly Pitcher says:

HA! Well I’m not going further east than Allegheny County….you know…Dick Morris is predicting PA will go to Romney….at the very least, it may be close…if it goes to Romney, for sure I can go to bed at a decent time

  11. Prairie says:

Mother of Slain State Dept. Official Tired of Being Lied To and Stonewalled by Obama Administration

This out of CNN of all things. The poor woman has been stonewalled from every senior administration official. Be sure and catch her description of what happened with Obama on page 2

  12. Prairie says:

Hello everybody, thanks to all for the links. Busy week here but I’m looking forward to tomorrow night’s debate. Praying for Cong. Ryan. Hope all are well here. Will check back later.

  13. lysie says:

Molly and I had nothing to do with this. I don’t agree with this tactic, but it is funny.

    • Jemian says:

If that is the horse poop story, I think the Rats did it themselves. If you look at the picture the placement is all wrong. A pubbie would have put it up next to the door in order to prevent movement. Its the sort of things lib do to themselves and then try to put the blame on others.

Now, if your link isn’t referring to the manure story, just ignore what I wrote. 🙂

    • tillacum says:

      heee heeee lol

  14. Molly Pitcher says:

lysie, everyone…exhausting, interesting day here. I got to shake
Dick Morris’s hand for one thing…Boy is he optimistic!

Also…much involved with family the next few days…I’ll be posting less, but still around!

  15. lysie says:

Dang pigs from across the road were here when we we not. They ripped up our lawn and tried to get to the chicken feed.

  16. Molly Pitcher says:

Without a Vote As heard on Levin’s show

  17. Jemian says:

Obama is hitting back at Romney, trying to recoup the losses from the debate. His latest ad is hard-hitting, attacking Romney where Romney is vulnerable. You must see Obama’s BIG BIRD VIDEO. Bhwahahaha!

    • Molly Pitcher says:

      Cant Wait!

Good morning Jemian..hope all is ok in your neck of the woods…..where’d that expression come from btw??!

    • Jemian says:

Neck of the woods? I have no idea. Hubby just told me we had an earthquake this afternoon. I didn’t feel it. It was hot today, but I am hearing the rumblings of distant thunder. I guess that is about it. Many of us are tired, but there isn’t sufficient personnel to delegate tasks. I share the sixth grade classroom with two other teachers, one of whom is there most of the time. So, she decorates the walls, arranges chairs and sets the atmosphere. It isn’t always easy to set aside my ego. Fortunately, when push comes to shove, we work together well.

    • Jemian says:

Oh my goodness, there were three quakes to the west of us. I felt none of them.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Welll….Jemian…..I hope you gently feel the next one!

  18. Molly Pitcher says:

Romney goes on offense Foreign policy speech today…

  19. Molly Pitcher says:

    ok…Campaign report…

The hard hitting Romney ads are starting to appear..they run 2 back to back…one is aimed at ’08 “voter remorse” folks.

As you may have heard –in Cuyahoga County absentee ballot requests are favoring Rs for a change.

I keep trying to get to the R headquarters here to pick up more material but keep getting side-tracked….grrr….

A friend and I are heading out tomorrow to see Dick Morris speak in our AO ….Am. for Property event….

  20. Molly Pitcher says:

Oh that bed looks so comfy!

  21. Jemian says:

    Wonderful! I can relax now.

We have been going over sentence structure and nouns and verbs since August 21. So, last week I had the kids write short descriptive paragraphs on “rain”. Half the students had at least once sentence fragment in their writings. Several had run-on-and-on-and-on sentences. Maybe, just maybe, before the year is out, they will move from theory to application. Big sigh.

    I hate grading writing.

    • Jemian says:

Raven, four years ago you, sadly, were spot-on with election assessments. What is your take this time?

    • The Raven says:

I used to write with sentence fragments. But no longer.

Anyway… take, eh?……. I am real nervous. Zero’s ads are taking a toll by defining Romney into something he is not. I think at the end of the day, the ads will make a difference and win it for him (Virginia and Ohio). My wife thinks the American people will not believe the lies and vote him out.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

When I read articles in journals and magazines…serious articles…I think sentence fragments are here to stay….they have proliferated like weeds in a July garden
