America the Right Way – Staying Vigilant December 14 and December 15 , 2013 ( Weekend Edition)

White Christmas it will be for many states. We lucked out, though. I’m thankful. The overnight snow accumulation was a hit or miss situation. Our total since Thursday is about 8 inches. I bet if I go less than 2 miles north of here there is much , much more.

Let’s pretend Obama is the owner of a restaurant. Using his way of running the country , how would his restaurant be run? Who would he employ? What would he serve? Etc.

cold drive to church this a.m., but, but….the valley will be lovely in its wintry dress, I must admit…..Did you hear that MozartLover??

    Good morning everyone.

      Thank you for breakfast.
Molly safe drive to church. I loved the new scenery after natures first winter dress. Everything looked to clean. The trees dressed in white, lawns, Christmas trees also in white, but the lights shining through.
It’s still cool in central Texas. It’s nice.
Rave and Jem, take care and get well soon.

  3. Prairie says:

Good evening everybody. We were able to do the performance today, although we could’ve used the rehearsal yesterday that Mr. Prairie was just too sick to participate in. Our “intro’s” and “outro’s” (introductions and take-outs) weren’t as strong as I’d have liked, but that’s show biz. Yours truly did her best, no errors that I was aware of. Thank goodness. 🙂

I came home tired and took a nap, we were there from before 10 AM until 3:30 or so. Outdoors, luckily the weather cooperated.

Mr. Prairie is feeling some better. He still has a sore throat but not the complete AGONY he has been in since Tuesday. Still congested but I think he’s slowly on the mend. PTL. Feel better Jemian and Raven.

Just tuned into Marty Stuart’s show to see Connie Smith singing. She was to have appeared on the Opry when we were there a couple of years ago but ended up not being there that night, which was a disappointment. I’d have really liked to have seen her in person.

  4. The Raven says:

Well…….I was supposed to go to the Dixie Stampede tonight at Dollywood but I got the crud when I traveled to Lysieland last week. Still coughing and hacking. The better half went without me with the kids and grandkids.
So I watched old football games – instead like UT vs Auburn – 1997 with Payton Manning.

Bringing your early morning post over to the new thread, Rav.
