America the Right Way – Staying Vigilant February 17, 2014-February 21, 2014 Remember 9/11

The Syrian “peace talks” have dissolved into the completely murderous ways of Assad. What else could have happened? What did Kerry expect? Anything different?

So Kerry is shifting the topic to “climate change.” He calls it the “new weapon of mass destruction.”

  1. The Raven says:

Looks like the idiots backed off. What were they thinking? Do they want to start a war ??

    • Prairie says:

They’d do it in a hot New York minute if they could get away with it. Too much blow back apparently. They’ll be sneakier and quieter next time.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

What’s amazing is that they seem blind and tone deaf to the reception the idea will get….living in a leftist’s bubble does that to you I guess

  2. lysie says:

Till, it breaks my heart to hear about your church.

This church was the church of my mom’s paternal side. Because of few members over the years, about 5 years ago my local town idiots tore it down. There is a video store and parking lot in its place.

    Truly breaks my heart.

    • lysie says:

Their motto should be “keeping the uninformed misinformed”.

Stay away from the news, FCC, and if you should monitor concentrate on the so-called entertainment, such as Miley and other disgustingly loathsome acts . That kind of crud is hurting our children more than Fox News reporting near truths.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Heard this via Limbaugh yesterday. Unbelievable, but NOT unbelievable knowing the regime.

    • tillacum says:

Great way to stifle Freedom of Speech. Guess the FCC has become concerned about nobama being called a liar. This truly is not the government we had with W or with Pres.
Reagan. The news called both dumb, and many other names. AND we thought billy boy and his sometimes roommate were corrupt. I think too the IRS, Benghazi, Fast and Furious have gotten under the skin of the FCC’s leader.

    • Prairie says:

So, apparently James Clyburn’s daughter “Mignon” tweeted 4 days ago that FoxNews does nothing but lie so we need this government minding in our newsrooms. If FoxNews is spreading lies, it shouldn’t be difficult to expose that and refute them, right?? Why not set the record straight with the truth, Mizz Mignon and Mr. Obama?

It’s because you CAN”T refute what FoxNews says. You have to try to silence them instead because you know what they are saying is accurate and you know that you can’t lie your way through hard enough to fully discredit what they are reporting. Plus, you enjoy wrecking American liberties whenever possible, you despicable liberal communists.

  3. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

    • Prairie says:

Good morning Lysie and all. I can’t tell if those are green peppers or green chilies….no matter…..Please pass the eggs.

    • lysie says:

      Good morning. Prairie.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

      Good morning!

We got going pretty early yesterday to get ahead of those storms working across the country….now in Baton Rouge for a visit to the Special Collections here at the university.

till am very sorry to read about your church. Some changes are so hard to take in, and deal with.

      Will be back later….

  4. Prairie says:

Bad situations in Ukraine and Venezuela. The Ukrainian equivalent of the Sec Def won’t even take a call from Chuck Hagel. Shows what a laughingstock Obongo’s administration is.

Something was reported about a Venezuelan beauty queen killed in the riots there. Which is an odd happening since one of their other beauty queens quite recently was found murdered with her husband on a road at night.

  5. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

    • tillacum says:

Thank you for breakfast. Think we’ll have that. Gads, I slept ’till 0700. Haven’t done that in years.

    • lysie says:

Hi till. We are in the 40s. Snow is melting…slowly….Woohoo.

    • tillacum says:

OH my. I’m happy to hear your snow is melting. We’re at 79 degrees here. Tomorrow it
will be around the same temps, so I’ll be in the garden. Spent about 4 hours helping a young couple rid their grandfathers house of papers, books, magazines, stuff. He’s in a retirement village in Dallas and they’ve come from Germany to finish cleaning the Manse and getting it ready for ??. Our church will be closing because of lack of people. We have no young ones and sometimes there are only 10 of us plus the choir. It’s a shame, but this little town has lost most of the young ones from our churches. They have moved to larger cities. Our church was build about 110 years ago. It’s a shame, because it is a nice building and still in good condition.

    • The Raven says:

Well, Thomas Sowell has a part II of an attack on Cruz today.

    • Prairie says:

Sorry to read about your church, till. When we lose small town America, we lose a great many good things.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

I will have to read those Sowell columns.

  6. Molly Pitcher says:

the shrinking imperialist president. Somehow he manages to be both…Jonah Goldberg

  7. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

  8. The Raven says:

So !! ……. The Congressional Budget Office released a report that confirms what we all know, that the impact of increasing the federal minimum wage, like Obamacare, and like the stimulus, and like extended unemployment insurance, is less jobs!!

But I would suggest the head of the CBO locks his doors at night before Vladimir Hussein Obama gets him.

  9. lysie says:

We are watching an old 1960-something Dragnet. Sergeant Joe Friday (Jack Webb) said that he filled his patrol car with 17 gallons of gas for a total of $6.55. :-0

  10. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

  11. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

  12. The Raven says:

Well, even Dr. Ben Carson has been audited by the IRS. We need to make a list.

    • lysie says:

The IRS is racist? Ah! I see. Carson doesn’t count because he’s a conservative.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

The Senate Dems are quite open about their reassurance that the IRS will be their ally in this election year….amazing how far we have fallen into the pit

    • tillacum says:

Obama has surrounded himself with people similar to those who surrounded Hitler. Hitler cannot be blamed “outright” for anything, because those totally committed to his policies made sure those who disagreed with them, “were taken care of”. We’re watching this happen in America, with this president.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Yes.. 0 is very “comfortable” with many kinds of low- functioning, morally challenged people, that’s for sure…as a community organizer and so on, it was one thing, but unfortunately for us too many people decided to elect him to the highest office in the country

Sometimes I wake up in the morning, and the thought hits me…3 more years!?…oh my…

    • The Raven says:

Yes…three more years and then what?

  13. Prairie says:

Evenin’ Molly. Thanks for the thread

Lysie I’m glad that you liked the clip from the other thread. Since you are a Ricky Skaggs fan and now have been introduced to Tony Rice, you might be interested in obtaining a record they cut upward of 33 years ago. All songs are duets, mandolin and guitar. It’s become a classic, a standard that every bluegrass lover owns. (Rice was singing in those days) Wikipedia says it was originally released 1980 and re-released 2012 (probably with a little sound tweaking that didn’t exist in 1980). It is not hard driving bluegrass, no banjo’s etc. It’s appropriately titled Skaggs and Rice

Tony Rice’s Manzanita album is also a classic that will give you a taste of his early distinguishing guitar style. It is a more driving sound as it has a full bluegrass band. You might be able to hear some clips from Manzanita online.

Many flatpick guitar players have tried to emulate Tony Rice’s method and style.
