Good morning everyone. Huge t storm this a.m.

  2. The Raven says:

Breitbart News talks about Oblimination or the future reversal of his policies — but he may Obliminate us first.

Obama is using powers he doesn’t have to grant amnesty before the November elections.

And why now? Is he begging the R’s to impeach before the elections (not in the cards because the Senate doesn’t have 2/3 votes)

Or is he secretly trading them for fraudulent votes to keep the Senate.

    Then what do we do?

      Win one for the fibber…Lol

    • lysie says:

      Hehehehe! Good one/ones. Thanks, Molly.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Right now it is just beautiful outside. There is something so perfect lovely summer Saturdays

      Trivia question:

Do any of you remember when Zero told NASA administrator Charles Bolden that his highest priority should be to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world??

    • Jemian says:

I have a friend who works for NASA. That particular policy is still in effect.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Yes I remember that story….. from early in these dreadful years, I think.

      Jemian….you feeling better?

    • Jemian says:

Molly, yes, I am better. But, no I am not well yet. I still have a headache every day. But, we are moving! So, I do a little of packing and then I quit when I get tired or the headache deepens. Hubby is doing most of the work.

The good news about the move is that the house is big and has lots of shelves and cuboards. It is, unfortunately, dirty. We’re not going to really unpack until a place has been cleaned. The upside is that there are enough rooms that we have designated one a storage room and so won’t have to walk around tubs of stuff as we clean and unpack.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Understand about the house….now keep getting better. You plan sounds like a good one….few steps at a time..

  3. The Raven says:

Boy, I could live at this RV park. 140 foot “slips” with shade trees and lots of privacy from neighboring campers. Should be a few years before the libs outlaw RVing……

  4. tillacum says:

These “little” invaders worry me. The schools will be overwhelmed with people who do not speak our language. Then we have the teenagers, who are enforcers and already breaking laws by using telephones (available in their housing areas) to carry on their illegal acts of terror. I’ve read some cities are receiving these people even though the governors and mayors said “NO”.
I had a good chuckle when the Honduran President said nobama was responsible for the control of our borders, not his to stop the invasion.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

The longer this draws out, the worse it gets. Maybe that’s the point..

    • edinva says:

My biggest fear is the disease that will spread into the general US population of school kids. Disease we’d considered long gone. How did a man who so hates this country – its history, traditions, and all it has stood for – manage to get elected its president? A question for the ages.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

      Very good…

      What’s some positive news today?

I guess we all managed to get out of bed….my cat loves me….the sun is shining…

    • lysie says:

The smiles were ” a-plenty last night at Friday night music.

A couple we met last year came back from Virginia. They are dance instructors. They have an autistic son. Very nice people. It was good seeing them again at the Legion.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

That is good. I bet they were happy to see you too!

Do you know where in VA they are from?

Severe storms this weekend…plans to go to concert with church friends are now iffy…the idea was to sit on the lawn…picnic, etc…it’s a wonderful venue, if the weather cooperates.

    • lysie says:

Molly, that couple is from this area. They go to Virginia for the winter. I’ll ask what part of VA.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Ok…got it…VA is a second home to me, so was curious

  5. lysie says:

Rav, your post on the other thread.

What is the proper response of a citizen when he/she receives news that the President of our nation is about to usurp Congressional powers and grant amnesty? He is doing it now before he loses the Senate.

What is the proper response of Congress? Courts?

I think the Congress (House), courts, and citizens should get creative and block it somehow – and immediately (the Supremes jumping in?)

Perhaps tell the amnesty recipients that the Obama decree has a very high likelihood of being reversed, Funding not appropriated. Voting is grounds for an immediate return to the country of origin.

Otherwise, we wait until after the elections.

Obama is trying to drum up the base by making hay of the impeachment threat. But a greater threat is to our nation of laws if we let him get away with this anarchy.

    • lysie says:

I say bombard on congress critters with letters. Shower them with firm words of disgust.

    • The Raven says:

Ramirez has a point. Obama is using the amnesty as a shield — a shield for his incompetence. That may be a successful counter for the R’s to use.

But…the R’s, the columnists, the talk radio crowd….all need to jump in now…not after the fact. We don’t need to mention impeachment. Let’s do to him what he did to Palin, Romney, (threatened to do to) Roberts, House R’s, etc .

    • lysie says:

      Oh! That is perfect!

      Cruz mentioned child abuse.

  6. lysie says:

Good morning everyone. Molly feel better.
