America the Right Way -Staying Vigilant- September 1, 2014 – September 5, 2014 Remember 9/11

Hello!

With Labor Day here, we have entered – officially – the 2014 Fall Campaign Season.

We pray fervently that in so many ways we survive, sanity intact, the next few weeks.

Expect many, many attacks on the “wealthy 1%”….is that the correct figure? It seems to change….

Anyway, there’s bound to be daily demagoguing for the racially sensitive set.

And how about the “Blame Bush” contingent?

Recently, the Dems and the administration have introduced the Corporate Tax Patriotism angle. That’s sure to inspire a few voters to the polls in November, don’t you think?

Oh dear, I haven’t even mentioned the women’s vote…but you get the idea.

Don’t forget the Benghazi Special report on Fox tonite….7 and 10 p.m ET, I think…definitely I saw it scheduled at 10.

  2. Molly Pitcher says:

Afternoon, everyone. Be sure to read the Stephen Hayes article….very troubling. I mean it’s not like we haven’t already been attacked and were supposed to have learned some lessons, right?

Talked to my dear friend…she knew who I was but otherwise, very “whoozy” .I really just wanted to talk to the ICU nurse, but she didn’t wait to answer my question and put me thru to her patient, and I’m afraid I may have disturbed her.

  3. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

  4. Molly Pitcher says:

    replace the Great Society

Here’s an article Raven will especially love

    • The Raven says:

Singapore is doing what Milton Friedman advocated. Health savings accounts for day-to-day health care and catastrophic insurance for everything else. Trouble is, Democrats are worry worts and would have panic attacks just thinking about it.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

. Trouble is, Democrats are worry worts and would have panic attacks just thinking about it.

Their thinking is already so messed up, that just might be an improvement.

I check out craigslist once in a while but when I see a post like this…I wonder why.

    But hey..it’s free. Puke.

This is a truly beautiful, high quality recliner. It has one small problem. Thanks to cat domination issues, it smells hopelessly like cat pee!! I have had it professionally cleaned, and the fabric is fine, but it must have seeped into the stuffing inside. I hate to throw away a nice chair when there may be someone who knows how to fix it. The fabric is in beautiful condition- there are no stains or discolorations (though the picture may look like it does, but it does not!) The fabric can probably be saved, but it needs to be removed and the inside stuff replaced.

  6. lysie says:

We went to see our finance guy. He likes the idea that we will take a small amount out for the camp. The deal should be done in about 1 week. Greg and his brother will be fishing soon. Yay!

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Very good! I was going to ask how that was going.

And your garden? A good year, I think…

Today is supposed to be a “scorcher”. YAY!

    • lysie says:

Our garden was a mixed thing. Beans did well. Corn …animals (deer) enjoyed. Tomatoes took a long time to get red. Cukes, zucchini and summer squash did well. Greg’s hot peppers did well, but the bell pepper didn’t. A confusing garden season….for sure.

    • lysie says:

I sent this to my brother-in-law

I want to thank you for inviting us to the Seneca Lake campsite. After months of me suggesting that Greg get a camp I think because he had a good time there it finally sunk in that he should buy one. I’m happy for all of us and hope to have fun together soon.

Got this wonderful response this morning….

We’re excited for both of you and hope you have years of enjoyment. Thanks for making it happen! He has dreamed of this for over 50 years.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Oh that is good…a super plus in days that are so worrisome.

I’m sure he appreciated your note!

    • lysie says:

Seldom do we splurge…unless it’s a few bucks at our music events.

About time…on us…not pets…not hay…not grain…us. Believe me it took a while for me to think that way!! Not my nature.

  7. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Well, my friend has settled into the cardio ICU with her family seeing her last evening. So far so good.

    • The Raven says:

The promising, but expensive, cancer drug Opdivo is now available in Japan. I still have hope that medical science will be able to come up with a GML (Genetically Modified Liberal). Now that cancer is being tamed, it is time to focus all of our attention on the biggest threat to humankind.

    • Jemian says:

Prayers continuing, Molly. May she and her friends be surrounded by God’s love and the ability to feel His presence.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

I haven’t read today’s PJM column. But if Fernandez writes that we are pretty much on our as far as security is concerned, I would agree, and that was clear almost 2 years ago on a terrible night in Benghazi when 0 couldn’t be bothered to act on behalf of officials in his own government.

We got a bad deal when we elected the One who declines to serve.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

      Thanks Jemian

    • Molly Pitcher says:

      GML!

a lot of UN modified libs keeping pretty quiet these days, I hear…

  8. The Raven says:

    Morning links :

#1—- Toto, I’ve a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore.. – Dems up to no good.

Dorothy: How can you talk if you haven’t got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don’t know… But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking… don’t they?

#2—- Obama told to put up or shut up. – Obama will definitely get tough and go after these people— Probably with an IRS audit

  9. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

  10. The Raven says:

    Morning quotes

…the world has always been messy
… we’re just noticing now because of social media.
… There is no strategy yet
… The analogy we used around here sometimes, and I think it’s accurate, that is if a JV team puts on Lakers uniforms, that does not make them Kobe Bryant.

Guess the author ? If you are like me, you react immediately when Obama comes on the radio or TV and change channels or turn the volume down — so you probably missed his words of wisdom. Notice his need to talk down to us….with an explanation. The media responds with a constant look at his poll numbers instead of a policy debate. If we had a leader, we would not look at poll numbers. Has anyone heard a rational debate on what happens if the Ukraine falls to Putin? If NATO dissolves? If Syria and ISIS survive? No…because this will make O look bad – a form of racism. I suppose we need to wait for a real President and hope for the best. No one on the ‘Pub side leading either

  11. The Raven says:

We have a bunch of airline miles (Delta) to use—-what shall we do…Caribbean (St Thomas?), St Petersburg or Barcelona/Madrid ? Need votes please.

  12. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

  13. tillacum says:

We just finished watching the movie, Hillary, it was eye popping. It’s on Newsmax. The movie is dedicated to Barbara Olson. If you have a chance to watch it, should it be played again, it’s worth the time. Even Hubby was impressed with it and he’s hard to impress, watching movies, unless it’s on History Channel.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Thanks till. I am watching a Tribe game. The blue angels are in town for their usual Labor Day show, and they are RIGHT above the park….very loud and distracting ,for sure. Both the batters and pitchers are affected at certain VERY LOUD times.

    • lysie says:

      Thanks, till.

What the heck is going on with our teams, Molly? I see Swisher is having or had double knee surgeries. Sheesh!

  14. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

  15. Jemian says:

Good morning! I hope your day goes well.

  16. Molly Pitcher says:

Yes… As for businessmen, I would count many small to medium size businessmen on our side for sure.

They are where “the rubber meets the road” so to speak.

  17. tillacum says:

We have too many lawyers representing us in both parties. Lawyers keep thinking of making new laws and new ways to tax us. Business men/women think of helping entrepreneurs to keep the economy strong and they believe in keeping our military strong.
