America the Right Way -Staying Vigilant- September 20 , 2014 – September 21 , 2014 Remember 9/11 ( Weekend Edition)

Uh-oh! A man jumped the White House fence and entered through the front door…causing a White House evacuation. The man was apprehended. O was not there.

Unlike Benghazi and other unsolved mysteries this will be investigated to the fullest.

Not a snowball’s chance in hell of succeeding Marine Gen. Tells the truth…

You shouldn’t want to live past 75 from Dr. Emanuel…

Hope you had a nice time at the picnic, Molly. Around 4:00 we had a downpour for about 20 minutes. I haven’t seen it rain that hard in quite some time.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Yes, it was great fun…while there the temps started dropping. Some of the gang played frisbee golf which was an adventure with the wind going so strong, and at some point a tree crashed in the nearby ravine.

  2. tillacum says:

Molly, I think both Emanuel and Radosh are off center, in thought, word and politics, way to the left.

  3. lysie says:

Thanks for the links, Molly. Ron Radosh’s article is a waker-upper.

  4. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

  5. edinva says:

ouch! lysie, you really nailed exactly how this will be handled vs Benghazi. The Messiah and the Little Messiahettes had just left the premises. Imagine had they been around? And today a guy drove thru the gate, refused to leave, so they called out the bomb squad. There was so much of this in the Clinton years, remember the guy who flew his small plane into the WH?

Fall is here! Tho, we had such a mild summer, not a great deal of change. Saw NY and New England had record cold already. Lysie, did you have frost? Gonna be a long, hard winter it seems.

We had brunch today with the bil who’s in from KY for his 50th h.s. reunion, and with our niece who’s being treated, apparently successfully, for a Stage 4 cancer. The little great-niece I’d mentioned a few weeks ago who, not yet 3 years old, required 2 neurosurgeries and then had to wear this hardware that looks like she’s still in surgery, is having that hardware removed next week! Praise God! So the world is good this week.

Tomorrow one of my h.s. classmates (the one I go to the Jersey Shore with every summer) is coming to town. We will trip the lights fantastic! Got tix for the Capitol, White House and Holocaust Museum. It’s all become so complicated with the post 9/11 security measures. We will, nonetheless, have fun. Actually, I haven’t been IN the White House since the Reagans were in residence. I.e.,. the Good Old Days.

Jemian, how’s TJ doing? And yourself? Well, I hope, on both counts.

    • Jemian says:

I haven’t heard from him since last week. I was thinking it was time to make contact again. I’m well although there are still after effects from the dengue. Most days, the depression has lifted and the joint pains are easing. I am still experiencing significant hair loss to the point that I am scared, really, to wash, brush or style the hair which remains. It is hot here so often I put the hair up in a ponytail or up-do. But not right now! My hair in May was about two or three inches below my shoulder. It’s now broken off to just below chin length. I’m considering a wig or perhaps rogaine. I’ve been told it will grow back but in the meantime, I am mortified.

Oh, silly vanity! I’ve never been a beauty anyway, but now I think I’m truly ugly.

    • edinva says:

To those who love you and to Him who you serve, you are absolutely beautiful. What else counts?

    • lysie says:

      Hi ,ed.

No damaging frost here, yet, ed.

Have fun with your friend today.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

      Hey…good morning ladies….

Trip the lights fantastic! Haven’t heard that phrase for awhile. Sounds like a good week coming up for sure, AND I appreciate the medical updates from you both.

…takes time for the body to heal in all its miraculous and intricate ways

  6. Molly Pitcher says:

Dear Fellow Liberals…a little light bulb goes on??

  7. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

    • The Raven says:

      >….this will be investigated to the fullest.

Lysie …Thanks for the morning laugh !!

Jemian…you were right the first time….it is 11AM –but next week…they have a bye this week. The vol schedule is horrible from here out.

    • lysie says:

      HA! You are welcome.

    • The Raven says:

      Morning quote:

“if you make your bed every morning you will have accomplished the first task of the day. It will give you a small sense of pride and it will encourage you to do another task and another and another. By the end of the day, that one task completed will have turned into many tasks completed. Making your bed will also reinforce the fact that little things in life matter. If you can’t do the little things right, you will never do the big things right. And, if by chance you have a miserable day, you will come home to a bed that is made—that you made—and a made bed gives you encouragement that tomorrow will be better.”

-Navy Seal Adm. William H. McRaven‘s 2014 commencement address at the University of Texas at Austin

    • lysie says:

      Great quote. Thanks, Rav.

BTW, I noticed your clever hint of his last name.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

That is funny….investigated to the nth degree…yep!

Also I have the answer to a question that was going around last week..

What are the 3 branches of government, it was asked. Why 0bama, 0bama, 0bama!

Silly people having to wonder about that……

    • tillacum says:

You betcha the invasion of our Whitehouse will be investigated. But the lost lives of 4 men in Benghazi will go unnoticed by the powers that be.
Nice breakfast lysie. Today it will be scrambled eggs with onions, gr peppers, celery and span. Hubby will have grits and bisquits of course, we’ll both enjoy a cuppa with cream.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Well that sounds so delicious till
