Hello!
OK, finally we are at the end of one of the most disgusting campaigns ever waged by the Democrats. The racialism aspects of it have been widespread, deep, and probably long-lasting in their effects.
Still….there may be some surprising outcomes in Tuesday’s elections…say N.H. or New Mexico, if the Rs really do well.
And it’s been somewhat satisfying to see the poor reception 0 has gotten when he has ventured out on the campaign trail. His rock star days are so over.

Good afternoon, ed. Very disappointing about Gillespie.
Wow! It’s cold, damp and windy out there. Good soup weather.
polar vortex! Polar Vortex! Polar vortex!
LOL…Yes. Happens every year about this time. Ha!
Exploded into Being by Divine Love a few deep thoughts to end the week
T G I F
Well, that’s a treat…… especially if you are a Yankees fan!
Very nice. Thanks, Rav.
TGIF!
OK, OK…here’s a Video with a Cleveland player…Harmon Killebrew
Awwwww……
I’m not asking you to find a video….just thinking of my fave player, and it’s probably Omar Vizquel. Such happiness and zest for the game.
Well, well, # of boots on the ground in Iraq going up, up….
Good morning everyone.
I ran across this list of best Presidents and kept looking for the obvious, Ronald Wilson Reagan, and it isn’t there. What the … ?
Anyway… the first comment after the article has it close to correct
Although I’m not sure how much of Hoover’s image is due to negative ads by Roosevelt rather than policy. Clinton may make it on the list as may Jerry Ford?
I have a few doubts about Nixon and JFK being on the worst list. Surely NOT the best list, but how about..mediocre list.????
OK, so Ed Gillespie has conceded. It would have been interesting to see if he’d been able to run a real campaign, had any of the GOP “big donors” given him $$$ to wage a real campaign. We’ll never know. Odd he got so little establishment support as he’s been national party chairman, ran several national campaigns, and would be personally well acquainted with the $$$ people. Alas, Mark Warner, the “sure thing” got quite the scare so will hopefully serve more as a Virginian than a party hack.
And now the DSCC has withdrawn its $$$ support for MIss Mary’s runoff in LA. Will she just concede or stick it out thru the runoff? I tend to think she will stick it out.
I’m still trying to find a R incumbent Congressman OR Senator who was defeated. Only the PA gov so far that I can think of. A few Rs in open seats might have won, i.e., Gillespie or even Scott, but a good week in all.
Thank you lysie and again, anniversary blessings to you and Greg.
What do y’all think about the upcoming FNC interview with the Navy Seal who shot Bin Laden? Should he do this or not?
Thank you, we’ll have that.
Re: Seal— he should keep quiet.
Here’s a new Tea Party Senator we don’t yet know…..Ben Sasse from Nebraska
Like Ben Sasse!
Yes! Sasse was the forgotten candidate in the cycle…but he is superb. Heard him interviewed a couple of times, and read about him, too.
Morning Quiz:
If by some miracle, the Koreans decided to merge into one country and be ruled by either the North or South systems, and the decision would be in the hands of the libs. The libs would choose:
a, b and c.
Yes, it’s a, b, and c. Do we get an A ?
That’s not the right answer….try again.
Stopping exec. amnesty We may have to do this.
I’m a fan of education BEFORE he goes off the cliff. It is far better to go to town halls and newspaper letters, speeches, TV spots, etc on just why it is illegal. If all else fails, if Obama doesn’t follow the Constitution then why not 50% majority votes for a veto overturn instead of 2/3?
True, we have a chance here to do some educatin’. It’s a duty as a matter of fact.
The Red Shift. NRO
Good morning everyone.
Oh do I need that to get me going. Thank you lysie
You are welcome. Chilly day….very chilly and dark.
Oh and..Happy 33rd anniversary Greg.
Ah! Happy Anniversary to both you dear people!
Happy Anniversary, Lysie and Greg! Still newlyweds!
Thank you, Molly and Jem.
Nothing fancy for the anniversary meal celebration…..pizza and wings. Good enough for us. 😉
I just checked my local precinct results (the way it should be nation wide)
Gov = 79% R
Sen = 70% R
House= 70% R
State House= 77% R
Similar to the county results !!
Excellent!
Harry Reid is NOT going away.
Sorry to say.
Prairie, If Harry isn’t going away…where will he hide ??
Somehow the video or pix isn’t posting to my machine Raven. Personally, I’d like to see him given some rock to crawl under and held there for the rest of his days. But, as for many of them, God will punish their wickedness. And THAT, you can count on.
Sometimes it does that for me with Chrome. I switch to a different browser and all is OK
Scott Walker Acceptance Speech Video
This is a MUST WATCH! Having had my ears, mind and soul assaulted on a daily basis with the partisan, wicked and secular-at-best pap of Obama and the donks over the past 6 years, it’s wonderful to hear a great speech from a godly conservative. It brought tears to my eyes.
Rush Limbaugh has a great commentary on it too. (FR thread) Spot on.
oops, I messed up the link……if need be, search for it, you WON’T be disappointed
Fixed it Prairie. Great speech!! Thank you.
Thank you lysie!
Thank you thank you!!
State Legislatures went R as well
USA Today Liberals tell us what’s wrong [Barf alert]
Let ’em keep their delusions….
Think of all the R talent in those legislatures…they had a high #, and just added to it. Great!
So if any Supremes (Ginsburg?) retire…the big Zero can’t put a Marxist in there.
He could still try,tho, right?
Who is on the judicial committee? We need to remind them they are in the opposition party and they need to OPPOSE Caligula.
Soooooo, I assume everyone here is happier today than they’ve been in a few years, at least politically. I’m trying to think of ONE Republican Congressperson or Senator who lost his/her election. All I can think of is Gov of PA, and I never ‘got’ that, has something to do with Penn State and Joe Paterno. Must be a PA thing???
The VA Senate race went fairly well, compared to what everyone expected till the last few days. They are talking about a recount as the difference is 1/2% of votes cast that automatically triggers a recount if requested. Right now they’re doing a county-by-county canvas. Our polling place had 36 votes between the two, slight advantage Warner. The old #&$(*%^@ John Warner came in to vote. Looks like he’s steps away from the grave. I’d told my husband the day before that if he dared to talk to John Warner when he appeared as he usually does, I might never speak to him again. John Warner endorsed Mark Warner the Dem. He’s always been a PITA and I am proud to state that I never once voted for him. Instead, I wrote in “Robert Bork.”
Lysie, I see you and Greg have a big day coming up tomorrow. Lest I fail to get in then, I shall now wish you a very Happy Anniversary!
Sen King to hold presser to announce which party he will caucus with?
So, Mr King…have a nice day. See ya.
Maybe the donks coughed up enough money to “persuade” King to remain as he is.
The Dems will take anyone as long as you vote the way you are directed. It’s a deal with the devil.
So brace yourself…0 will be holding a press conference about 3 p.m.
McConnell will likely start his promptly at 2.
I am hoping Congress gets a Keystone bill off to 0, and if a vote has to be taken to override his veto, so be it. It can be done. There are just 2 many jobs associated with that project not to do this
Yep. Keystone and a repeal of the medical device tax. There are dem senators who will vote to override a presidential veto.
Question: Mr. President, was this election a refutation of your policies?
Obama: No. This was a refutation of Washington Gridlock.
So King will continue to caucus with the Dems, and Machin sounds like he will remain a Dem.
I remember so well after 1994 how many Ds switched, but those days are over I guess…the lines are more firmly and clearly drawn, and there are fewer conservative Dems around to switch. Still Machin could have done this. Too bad
He is still droning on
I think there is another element of the ACA that has widespread repealable support…can’t remember what it is mkh
A good press conference would be if he came out in a straight jacket dribbling spittle.
lol. Then they took him away to spend his days on some golf course.
A decent recap of last night Sorry for the NPR source. 🙂
I was happy to see that Sam Brownback in KS actually did retain his governor’s seat. Last night it was looking doubtful. I do think there should be a recount in VA….although this opens up for the typical donk fraud. Too bad Brown couldn’t oust Shaheen, especially in light of the recent evidence of her role in the IRS scandal.
I’m so glad I don’t live in MN…..Al Franken reelected. Sheesh, that would be enough reason to move, IMO. Also glad Mia Love won and ESPECIALLY Scott Walker.
YaPoo headine this morning was something like: “Who was the big winner in the 2014 midterm elections? Hillary Clinton!” LOL!
I’m off to the dentist this morning and errands. I tend to think like Rush was opining yesterday…..Yes, the Republicans received power and authority from the voters….but DO THEY REALLY WANT IT??
Great question, one that I am more than a little skeptical of. Oh, and I’m loving that Ernst won. (/random thoughts)
Oh that is ridiculous about Clinton….it seems to me that the big winner (Dem side) may be Warren, and Clinton will be very worried about that.
GOOD morning everyone.
Funny…FOX is all election coverage and NBC has nothing.
Check the headline. here.
I think MSM need their binky.
LOL! You are so thoughtful!
Yeah….a GOP “gridlock”. Nothing at all similar to the vast number of bills that Harry Reid killed on his desk though, nope, nosiree…….
YES, Virginia, there is a WAVE
The cheating wasn’t enough. We got ’em all except NH…..VA’s Warner claims victory of nail biter (3rd party Libertarian votes the difference). Alaska, NC go R. LA runoff but looking good. 54 total. 55 with LA. War Eagle. GOP wins GOV in Florida, Kansas, Michigan, Massachusetts, Maryland and Illinois !!! Walker wins WI. Liberalism defeated. Obama shellacked.
Republican storm troopers descending on DC…. to begin treason trials of Democrats & deport aliens.Lysie’s prayers answered. The Raven quieted on voter fraud. Daily Kos: “We have no headline for this post.” House R’s at PLUS 13 with 20 seats not called yet. Mia Love wins. State Legislatures R+3 (8 undecided). NY State Senate goes R. Most pre-election polls way off…….in favor of Dems. Tom Steyer spent $75M.Pelosi blames global warming. With our political speech tamped down by the Dems, our best advertisement has been the performance of the Obama Democrats. People who make you cringe are now cringing (Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Harry Reid, Obama, Pelosi, Chuck U Schumer)Morning quote #1:

Morning Quote #3
WSJ OpEd on what Obama will do now. In other words, no change.
Yes…yes. Yippee!!
Oh that scary Red Wave!! LOL!
Maybe we can build a firewall, do you think?? I sure hope so! The ongoing assault on Liberty and prosperity of the last 6 years can be stopped??
Very, very cool, Raven and a wonderful breakfast lysie
Just love the big Walker win
It is so, so, sad that the job of the Republicans is to slow or reverse the Progressive war on the Constitution. In every election
True, and one could argue, it seems to me, that 0’s mistake was that he over reached with his transformation business. Too bad we couldn’t face that 2 years ago, and throw him out then. That would have saved us a lot of anguish. But if he had been more in the compromise mode all along, yikes… the Dems might still be in the Senate control.
Ah..very good.
Well, if Alaska is critical to the final #, too bad I am not staying up til 3 a.m.
HA,HA! What’s going on in Virginia, ED??
Joni Ernst 1 a.m. Campaign stop this was fun to read
We’re off to vote this morning, after hotcakes and sausage at the Masonic Lodge. I wonder if they’ll give us 2 ballots, each ???? Hmmmm? It’s a great day for voting, nice and cool.
VOTING LISTS ARE MISSING IN SOME PRECINCTS IN CT!!!!! Golly days, how did that happen????
Yes, indeed…….another form of voter fraud in Hartford, CT—of course in favor of the Dem in a close Gov race……….
Good morning everyone.
Very good. Can’t wait to hear about Stefanik’s win!
I hope he screams his head off. 😉
Large amount of people voting..at least for our area. I spotted a few that could be libs (women’s rights) , but most appeared to be conservative….pro 2nd amendment.
How did you know they were 2nd Amendment types? Were they packing a handgun?
Driving pickups with rifle racks in the back windows and wearing hunting camo.
The ‘Pubs are up a notch in most of the toss-up states except NH & NC where they are in a virtual tie (less than 1% behind). But, unfortunately, there are 8 states within cheating distance (CO has mail-in now). ‘Pubs can end up with anywhere from 49-55 seats). Most likely 53 in a fair race. Gov races to watch in WI (Walker up +2), KS, CO, and IL – overall Dems may pick up 1 or 2 here. The House has 30 toss-ups of which only 10 are Blue. The Pubs are already looking at +4 in the House and possibly can pick up another 10. Maybe 240 in the House when all is said & done.
We have a warm, sunny voting day today.
Good morning! Sounds like the Rs in CO have voted early and often.HA! (120,000+ lead so far).
I better not make any predictions. Except..I am sure there will be a disappointment or 2.
OH! Did you notice certain people talking about how the Rs will need to compromise? GRRRRRR.
Greg and I are going to vote. Back soon.
Yes…in CO…there are stacks and stacks of Dem ballots…….just waiting for a home.
I also am nervous about Iowa simply because Harry Reid said that will be the key.
So…where is the most massive cheating tomorrow? My guesses are NC and CO ….. maybe LA
Not sure why…but my link below didn’t make it —the sane talk was Bill Whittle – not the ATRW —–oh wait…that doesn’t sound right……
Anyway….see new link below
re-airing an 0bama endorsement. By the R candidate! HA
RETRY
Sane talk here
We try to be truthful and reasonable.
Most of the time…sanity is difficult some days. 😊. Perhaps I should add: speaking for myself!
OK! That was good. Thanks Raven
Every single time I watch the castration ad, it cracks me up! Some political ad producer should be paid extremely well for that one. Haaaa!
Good morning everybody
Gillespie being interviewed by Bennett now, and he sounds very excited and energized. You know I just love hearing him run off all the places he’s visiting today..Henrico Co., Staunton, Loudoun Co. and so on…Chesepeake yesterday ( the Norfolk area).
He’s talking about the economic anxiety he’s hearing from people.
GO VIRGINIA! Yay!
Good morning everyone. Thanks for the start, Molly.
Good morning everyone. Thanks for the breakfast lysie Yesterday’s was outstanding, btw…
And I hope everyone’s weekend was a good one. The yard is carpeted in leaves, waiting for the yard service to come & handle…..or maybe they will just blow away…
Election in Ohio has fizzled out for Gov. race, since the Dem candidate was a DUD! HAHAHAHA! AND there was nothing the media could do to help him. HAHAHAHA!
You are welcome, Molly.
I’m happy to hear Kasich will win. The media pushing for FitzGerald in a big way made the media look like fools . Ha!
Yes it was the laugh of the summer….
Morning quote #1:
Marisa Shultz in NYPost’s Polls showing a likely Republican Senate takeover. She doesn’t mention the the “technologies” employed are multiple voting, non-citizen voting, and out-of-State voting.
Morning Quote #2
Douglas Irwin in a WSJ OpEd on the unprecedented decline in world poverty the last 25 years.
Yup. Have to love that new technology./s
Yes…..Molly P.….disgusting AND in some cases illegal. If we include the IRS targeting of tea party groups and Republican donating businesses. AND we now find the illegal voting is not rare—- but, quite substantial. It is time for people to go to jail.
Ed…….VA is mentioned by Steve Hayward as a possible upset. But that is a lot of ground to make up. Some other good news – Cassidy in LA is at the 50% mark in LA (NBC poll)….meaning no runoff necessary. Georgia is the other state with a 50% minimum requirement and Nunn is fading but not enough.
Speaking of Virginia, Powerline has a short blurb on the demonstrations to change the name of the Redskins football team. Which gives me an idea. How about if we picket for the Democrats to get rid of their name? They were pro-slavery, anti-Lincoln, and are now the party of illegal activities, hate and race baiting.
I’ll be livid if a team is named ” New York White Bread”. /s
Why can’t people just get over it? It’s only a WORD.
Just put that idea on
Free Republicthe old ATRW !!!First thing this am phone rang, caller ID said it was from DC. I didn’t answer. Voicemail nonetheless comes on … hi, this is Barack Obama …. get out and vote, blah blah blah. Just made my day!
I don’t wanna get my hopes up but at the last minute, Real Clear Politics moved VA from “likely Dem” to “leaning Dem.” Let’s hope the momentum hasn’t taken too long to kick in. THO I have to admit, there’s been little sign of a campaign by either side if one doesn’t have TV. Few yard signs, mailings, any of the usual. And GOD FORBID a knock on the door.
