America the Right Way -Staying Vigilant- November 15 , 2014 – November 16 , 2014 Remember 9/11 ( Weekend Edition)

Thirty-one Dems voted with Republicans to approve the Keystone Pipeline. When O vetoes the legislation Sen. Jim Inhofe thinks there will be enough votes in the Senate to override the veto. Wishful thinking?

How one man could obliterate 0Care Guess who? Oh the irony! So WHO is stupid, Mr. Gruber?

    Let’s eat that stew here.

  2. Molly Pitcher says:

    Afternoon, everyone.

I am wondering how the wedding went ED?

At church this a.m., the young people conducted the service, and while we are a small congregation…there were about 25 teenagers involved. They were outstanding, and I hope and pray that they can stay truly rooted in the path they have set out on, although it won’t always be easy, as we all know.

We are in “a when does the snow arrive?” mode it looks like. Predictions vary as to amounts expected….

    • lysie says:

Sadly..we beat you to that prediction. Gratefully it hasn’t stuck. Just a little white on the ground….now. I bet we had more than five inches total over the last 3 days.

Wonderful to hear about the teens and church. With encouragement from family and church members I pray along with you that is their path …forever.

  3. lysie says:

Brrr! Kind of weather for some comfort food while watching football.

  4. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

    • The Raven says:

      Good morning.

And check this out…. Megyn found another Gruber !!! This guy lies seamlessly and doesn’t change his expression.

    • lysie says:

I’m surprised Megyn didn’t reach across the table and wring his neck. 😉

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Thanks for the link Raven….had missed that…Megyn has plenty of material to work with these days!

    • The Raven says:

We are about to do this again with immigration. So if the President has his own party controlling Congress…then he puts bills through Congress (example: Obamacare)… if he doesn’t have a friendly Congress…then it is OK to assume Congress doesn’t exist.

So if there is a Republican president and a Dem Congress…..then it will be OK for him to reverse the Obama indiscretions but while he’s at it, eliminate the personal income tax and dissolve 80% of the federal government.

      Yes?

      Yes?

Ha! Rav, you are kidding, right? MSM would not allow that to happen. There would be 24 hour coverage about how it is over reaching power.

    • The Raven says:

Oh…I forgot…the new President would also create an executive order forcing al newspapers and TV stations to abide by the Fairness in Media act. If they only have had a liberal bias for most of the last 20 years then it is only fair that their license is pulled. Hah !

    This and that on Saturday

-Sooooo…how many of you here at ATRW are listening to the Serial podcast every week?
    – Now that everybody on the Dem side is getting worried about putting up another Obama….Hillary isn’t looking good. How about a good moderate Dem like Bredesen
    – Looks like Miss State is going to get blasted today.
    – With the Dem DA’s going after Republicans in Wisconsin and Texas…..how about some real crimes like the lies told on Obamacare and money spent without authorization — put em in jail !!!
    – I have a chore for the Republicans…….defund the CBO……the Congressional Budget Office for the partisan and worthless “scoring” of the Obamacare bill as well as most bills. Who needs it?
    – Japan pitchers no-hit the US All-Stars

-Quote of the year nomination- “What would Gruber do? [your’s truly]

I was just watching Betsy Mccaughey on judge Jeanine’s show. She says there will not be another 0care signup next care. The whole mess will be gone. The judge was her usual emphatic self in her intro.

So I switched to some soothing music to calm down , and got plugged into a lively , exciting concerto grosso by William Boyce. Oh well.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Are you watching that podcast? Total news to me….hadn’t heard about it.

    • Jemian says:

We got blasted too, I think. It was so bad that when I lost the connection in the 4th, I didn’t try to reconnect. The pendulum has swung again. Ouch! Neverthess, it is STILL GREAT to be an Auburn Tiger. War Eagle!

Edinva, thanks for the answer to my student’s question. I had not thought of those reasons.

    • The Raven says:

Yeppers…..the better half and I listened to all but one episode of Serial….and are now addicted. Apple claims it is the most downloaded podcast since the start of iTunes…..Also available on android but you need an app. If you look at the picture of the host……she looks like the quintessential anti-cop liberal — so, if we read the tea leaves correctly, I guess we know what’s coming in the end……..the guy is innocent of course!!

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Well, I read the short article, and figured the series was being produced to clear the old boyfriend, yes.

    • lysie says:

This coming Jan. there will be a court hearing to overturn a kidnapping conviction in the 1994 abduction of a local teen. A man was convicted in 1990s of the kidnapping and presumed killing of an Oswego County teenager. He’s been in prison for 20 years. A witness has come forward and admitted that she lied to the police.

From day one many were confused by the conviction as it was based ALL on hearsay…no DNA..nothing.

I’m not saying convicted people are always innocent, but in this case many believe it was sloppy investigating and nail anyone just to “solve” the case.

    • The Raven says:

One of the episodes covers the quality of the investigation and they rated it above average. The jury relied on one person’s testimony, the convicted guys friend who helped him bury the body. This guy needs to be discredited in order to come up with a not-guilty

    • lysie says:

      Thanks for the explanation, Rav.

  6. tillacum says:

Good Morning, boy! you guys have been busy. It’s even super cool in central Texas. It was down to 29 degrees. It’s supposed to get back to the mid to high 50 later today.

  7. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.
