America the Right Way -Staying Vigilant- March 9, 2015 – March 13, 2015 Remember 9/11

Hello!

Is Hillary! toast?

Does Joe Biden want to take her place as presumptive Dem nominee, or will Elizabeth Warren stop demurring and decide she wants to take the country even further leftward, as 0 probably wants her to do?

And speaking of 0, how much more of this can we stand??

Coming full circle, 0 says he only learned of Hillary!’s email problem via news sources.

But don’t worry, 0 is well informed enough to negotiate a nuclear deal with Iran.

Hello! I see it is time to have a party. Good food, good music and, especially, good people.

I read on the news yestereday that Putin hasn’t really been seen since March 8. The Kremlin has put out that he is ill. When was the last time that a high Soviet official had a “cold?” Now, this morning, I read somewhere on the ‘net that he may be in Italy with his mistress who is or has given birth to their third child. Rumors, rumors, rumors. What a sad world we have. I am glad I have read the end of the Book.

  1. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Nice. We hear the birds, but haven’t seen any robins.

    • tillacum says:

Good Morning backacha. We’re getting ready to set up an assembly line to fill pots, for our merchants, with flowers to be placed in front of the stores. The assembly line today, the work tomorrow. When we’re through with that, we’re off to help celebrate the American Legion’s 96th year, here in our little town.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

That sounds wonderful till. Good for you and everyone for doing that. When I see those touches in towns I travel thru, I sure appreciate them!

    • lysie says:

      Nice, Rav. Thanks.

Molly, enjoy your good eats. Till, wish I was there to help with the potting and be part of the American Legion celebration.

  2. Prairie says:

I blame Stinky, Holder and the DOJ for these Ferguson officers being shot. They just HAD to keep stirring the pot until some black perp(s) decided they would extract their own pound of flesh.

  3. lysie says:

Hey Rav, I saw a few of these today. Whoooohooo! Not in our yard, but a couple miles from here.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Don’t think I’ve seen any of those…will check with my husband…green grass showing tho..

    • The Raven says:

Well, our robins are gone. They moved. Went somewhere else (maybe NY?). As did the gazillion gulls in feeding frenzies we watched every day. The gulls probably migrated north.

Or….we have had days and days of spring rain showers…..maybe the birds are just sleeping in.

  4. lysie says:

Good morning everyone. Thanks for the quote, Rav.

  5. The Raven says:

    Morning quote:

We have an extraordinary amount of student loan [debt] in America and it’s often held by people who have a degree that doesn’t lead to a job. And I think before you take out $40,000 or $50,000 in student loans you deserve to be told how much you can expect to make when you graduate with that degree so you can decide whether it’s worth borrowing $40,000 to be a Greek philosophy major. Because the market for Greek philosophers is tight. . . .

    -Marco Rubio

  6. Prairie says:

Ed Klein: W.H. Has Six Investigations Into Hillary

Ed Klein: All of this, I’m told, is prompted by Valerie Jarrett, and the president who do not want to see Hillary Clinton President of the United States…they feel the Clintons are very centrist as far as the Democratic Party is concerned, that if Hillary becomes president, she won’t carry out the legacy of Barack Obama, which is much further to the left than the Clintons, that she’ll cooperate with the Republicans the way Bill Clinton did when he was in office, and dilute whatever Obama was able to accomplish.”

I agree with this, it wouldn’t surprise me in the least.

If we start seeing more speculation about additional Dems considering jumping into the race, I think we’ll know that HIllary’s presidential run might be on the skids. That said, I really don’t think anything will ever happen to her personally but we can always hope.

    • The Raven says:

Yes…Rush was commiserating about that yesterday. That Obama is behind Hill’s problems. And the ‘Pubs are just standing back and watching it unfold.

Maybe we can impeach this Clinton before she takes office.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Verrrry interesting. And does all this take the attention away from the Iran deal? You betcha!

  7. Prairie says:

Hillary’s Email Caper Is ‘Pure Clinton’

“There are few politicians alive today who have a better understanding than the Clintons of the perils of paper trails—and the benefits of not having them. It really wasn’t all that long ago that Mrs. Clinton was failing to answer questions about how her Rose Law firm billing records vanished. Or using executive privilege to sit on documents that showed her involvement in the Travel Travel Office firings. Or grappling with testimony from a Secret Service agent who said Mrs. Clinton’s top aide had removed files from Vince Foster’s office. Or explaining her connection to Sandy Berger, who was prosecuted for stealing Clinton-related National Archives records.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Well, since we are talking Hillary History, how about this?

At some point down the road, and they can’t wait too long……senior respected Dem party people go to her and say it’s over…?You know…like what happened to Nixon?☺️

They tell her for the good of everyone, she has to step aside so the party can find another candidate.

  8. The Raven says:

On the immigration front, there’s a long distance runner named Edward Cheserek whose Kenyan and applying for US citizenship in time for the next Olympics. Turns out he’s the best collegiate long distance runner ever. Welcome to the US, Ed.

  9. tillacum says:

Hillary may have “destroyed” some of her e-mails, but they are still with her provider. It can be retrieved. I’m hoping Trey Goody does retrieve the ones she thinks she “removed”.

  10. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

  11. The Raven says:

    Spring is Coming !!!!

  12. Prairie says:

Good evening all. I was wise today and didn’t watch the Beastie spout her lies during her “press conference”. Mr Prairie watched and said she smirked frequently. And frankly, given all they Clintons have gotten away with, why wouldn’t she?

But here’s a question. Chelsea Clinton is now a mom. Does she have any concerns whatsoever about raising her daughter around the corruption of Bill and Hill, or has Chelsea become so jaded, being raised by them herself, she views their depravity as “normal”?

And what about Chelsea’s husband? Is he so star-struck, money-struck by his famous in-laws that he will abdicate any responsible parenting for the child?

    I wonder about these things…….

    • Prairie says:

In other news, the left certainly has their collective panties in a bunch about the 46 Republican signatures to Tom Cotton’s letter to the mullahs. The Left’s New Definition of Treason
      Freaking communists….!

    • Prairie says:

Totally unrelated, I personally think that fascinator hats are cute. And because she wears them so well…

    • Prairie says:

      So, if a group of university blacks, such as a basketball team for instance, were caught on camera chanting about “crackers” and “whitey”….would we see the same level of outrage? Would we see ANY outrage? Or maybe just… {{{crickets??}}}

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Evening prairie. I wonder too….. I wonder about those Dems who would still foist her on the rest of us as a candidate.

I wonder how any responsible person could even consider her as a candidate…let alone President .

    • Prairie says:

Well if Kirsten Powers and some other female liberal that Lou Dobbs had on his show are any indication, it won’t matter one iota. Both of them stated outrage at the entire sever/email situation and Hillary’s non-responses but then turned around and emphatically stated they would certainly vote for Hillary rather than see a republican win the White House in 2016. Which just goes to show that getting liberal agenda advanced is worth ANY price to the donks. ANY. PRICE.

    • The Raven says:

The left using the word treason is a laugher. Like they have a clue as to why treason is bad.

    • lysie says:

Prairie, my thoughts exactly regarding the university scandal. Where’s the outrage when many rap / hip-hop songs endorse violence, the use of drugs, vulgar language and abuse of women.

I’m not condoning what the fraternity brothers did, but wrong is wrong… no matter what color you are….what gender you are…what age you are.

    • The Raven says:

I bet those Oklahoma students are Dems.

    • lysie says:

Rav, I bet you are right.

  13. Molly Pitcher says:

    never mind bullet ban shelved…..

    • The Raven says:

We are going the other way in Tennessee……the legislature are proposing a law allowing guns in a lot of places previously banned…..like parks and schools. And easing requirements for a permit.
The number of permits to carry in our state went from about 170k before Obama to almost 1/2 million today

    • lysie says:

So, I guess if a State of N.J., N.Y. M.A. (whatever state) Design Engineer answered emails from …let’s say.. a private contractor…. on a personal account ….that would be all right?? I was under the impression when someone does that, there a possibility of kickbacks being involved.

    • lysie says:

Too inconvenient to have 2 email phones, laptop?? Too inconvenient?? Guess what Hillary….the taxpayers paid you and your aides and if it was too inconvenient to carry 2 phones…what else was too inconvenient? The truth about Benghazi???

    • Molly Pitcher says:

That was a pathetic event even by Clinton standards.

Think I heard that Steyn will be on Hannity’s show later…

  14. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

    • The Raven says:

      Morning quote:

… the arguments for capitalism are subtle and sophisticated, while the arguments for collectivism are simple and emotional.

      – Douglas Coate paraphrasing Milton Friedman in a WSJ op ed piece on selling capitalism to the masses.

    • lysie says:

Good one, Rav. Thanks and good morning.

Question?? Libs love collectivism. Libs love the war on women meme. Yet, doesn’t collectivism put a damper on that?

    • The Raven says:

This is the scariest op-ed I have read. Essentially, Obama’s Justice is gearing up to harass the Republicans.

      Money quote:

A coordination investigation can be started on almost any pretext. All you need is an allegation that someone talked to someone they should not have. Once the investigation makes it over that low evidentiary hurdle, the feds can comb through every shred of personal and group communications to find illegal contact.

We’ve seen how this wrecking ball works in Wisconsin, where Governor Scott Walker ’s conservative allies had their records seized and homes raided based on mere claims of coordination. Justice is now essentially giving itself sway to probe every Republican presidential campaign based on an accusation from some left-wing activist.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

      Good morning!

    • Molly Pitcher says:

      Harass and silence…yes.

    • The Raven says:

      Morning Quote #3

No recent president has rendered himself so unlistenable, so omittable from adult discussion aimed at the resolution of genuine problems.

William Murchison WHAT HAPPENED TO OBAMA’S MORAL AUTHORITY? – Am Spect.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

      That’s a good one too!
Raven I have cousins who live in the Oak Ridge area…they were stuck for days in their house because of that ice storm. We are having a slow melt..no rain…so that is good.

    • tillacum says:

THAT is a Cowboy’s breakfast. Thanks lysie.

  15. Prairie says:

Another “Unarmed Black Teenager” Incident in Wisconsin

Money quote: DOJ could do a lot more good if it conducted an advertising campaign, informing teenagers of all races that if they assault a police officer, they likely will be shot.

    Yep. Meanwhile:

NYPD cops badly beaten by suspects during arrest

  16. Molly Pitcher says:

    Well. so he did know??

  17. lysie says:

Beautiful day. The sun is shining and the temperature is close 40+ degrees. I could get use to this. 😉

  18. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

Thanks for the start, Molly. Prayers up for your friends family and friends. ((hugs))

    • The Raven says:

      Morning quote 1:

Progressives such as Princeton economist Paul Krugman seized on Mr. Piketty’s thesis to justify policies they have long wanted—namely, very high taxes on the wealthy …. now in an extraordinary about-face, Mr. Piketty has backtracked, undermining the policy prescriptions many have based on his conclusions.

-R Rosenkranz in a WSJ op ed piece on French economist Thomas Piketty recently walking back his conclusions in ‘Capital in the 21st Century”

Morning [spring is coming reminder] quote 2:

Yea, but I ain’t in shape yet

      – Yogi Berra in spring training when after asking for a size 7 ¾ hat, his trainer said “But, Yogi, you know you wear 7 5/8

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Wow, he actually moved away from his earlier conclusions?

    • Molly Pitcher says:

You did it! Thanks and good morning everyone!

How’s everyone doing with the time change?

    • lysie says:

Molly, for some reason, this seems to be the first year that I’m having a problem with the time change.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

That is too bad. I went to bed earlier on Sat night, and yesterday was the best in a long time. Still ok, so maybe that worked for me.

    • tillacum says:

Hmm, I fixed that yesterday. Surprised the guys. They loved it.

  19. The Raven says:

Well there was a moderate beam of optimism in that the left was throwing a Hail Mary at the Supremes on Friday indicating that Kennedy and Roberts may indeed be voting against Obamacare.
I wonder why we don’t lash out at the left justices for their political bias and hypocrisy – similar to the attacks on the conservatives. This would be an excellent opportunity to highlight their commitment to liberalism over the US Constitution.

    Kennedy won’t save Obamacare

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Another “wow”…dare we hope? I think that part of me vis a vis politics, at least, has died away, but it’s sounding a little better. Let’s put it that way. I just hate to be disappointed AGAIN.
