America the Right Way -Staying Vigilant- March 16, 2015 – March 20, 2015 Remember 9/11

Hello!

Hillary! is changing her story slightly: adjusting upward the number of emails that were reviewed for deleting/ turning over to the State Dept. Whatever.

The revelation that 0’s confidant/manager Valerie Jarrett leaked the email story to the NYT is entirely plausible.

One man has been arrested in the Ferguson shootings last week, and he claims that the policemen were not his targets.

    Yo!

I saw the Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives B. Todd Jones will be resigning from his position!!!! I guess Obama doesn’t like when his orders aren’t followed. I also got an email saying the NRA thinks the bullet ban may resurface.

  2. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

    • The Raven says:

….remember when the state governors had to choose whether to have a State exchange and subsidies or not? When most chose NOT…..the Dem scheme was destroyed and they started giving subsidies to the federal exchanges. If the Supremes vote incorrectly and allow federal subsidies, then the States who already have exchanges should simply opt out and let the Feds do it. Why take on the hassle? If the Supremes vote correctly…..then the Obamas will lobby the Governors to establish exchanges…..(but they already made this choice!!). Why should they make the decision again?

    • lysie says:

I don’t know, Rav. My mind is in a spin with all these irrational decisions.

    • The Raven says:

Hmmm…Wall Street futures are way up. Looks like a good day for stocks

    • lysie says:

Thanks for that good news, Rav. We can use it.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

      Good morning

  3. The Raven says:

Everybody vote! Hah. Surely he means to include those pouring over the southern borders. Easier is a Constitutional Amendment to make the winner of the Democrat primaries the defacto President. He could do that by executive order, surely.

Why does Obama hate our Constitution and culture so deeply?

    Related morning quote:

The president has jumped into the strangeness fray by musing aloud that mandatory voting in the United States would be a good idea. “It would be transformative if everybody voted,” he told an audience in Cleveland. Yes, it would. It would mean a lot of people who aren’t interested in public policy and choose not to follow it would suddenly be deciding it.

  4. Prairie says:

Hello everyone. I’ve been “off news” for the most part for the past several days. Soooo many parties, socials, pot-lucks and get-togethers at this time of year as people think about migrating north. Still, I did hear about Bibi’s win…..Yay! Thanks to all for the links.

    Prayers up for you Jemian.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Oh you busy gal. It’s good to move beyond the news into more light hearted territory. We just had dinner at a restaurant..French… And we are still laughing about some of the offerings. Definitely a challenge for my husband. But the Madeleines for dessert were appreciated!

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Ok…now we are talking about some app, for the sleep challenged…These fall into the unusual category….walking on leaves….windshield wipers….trains…blizzard…wooden chimes….

    • Jemian says:

Thank you all for your prayers. The infection is coming under control, but I must continue to with antibiotics for awhile longer. The BP is lower, too.

At present, I am focusing on immediate tasks and spending the rest of the time relaxing, in prayer, and meditating on The Word. One day at a time.

  5. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

High carb things I’ll give to the chickens. 😉

  6. Molly Pitcher says:

A late good morning…now that Netanyahu has won, I’m worried about how 0 will take his revenge….probably by speeding up negotiations with Iran, as some suggested before the election. Goodness! What kind of creature do we have as president?

  7. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

    • The Raven says:

      Good morning!!

Just got done reading a note from a guy having dinner with a colleague I haven’t seen or heard from in 30 pounds years. Time flies!

    • The Raven says:

The FED is rumored to be removing their promise not to raise interest rates today. Not sure if stocks will dump or if the market has already been corrected for that. The futures are showing slightly down……..but I’m sure the managers have their finger on the button.

    • lysie says:

Good morning, Rav. 30 years? Seems like yesterday.

    • The Raven says:

      Morning Quote #1:

… the criticism is merited because of performance—or lack of performance, because of incompetence. It hasn’t got anything to do with race.”

      – Dick Cheney in his Playboy interview — from Dick Cheney Says President Obama and Eric Holder Have ‘Played the Race Card

      Morning Quote #2

In his first inaugural address, Lincoln discussed a recent Supreme Court decision about slavery. He forswore “any assault upon the court,” but stressed that “the policy of the Government upon vital questions affecting the whole people” ought not be “irrevocably fixed” by a single suit brought by only a few. He said that Supreme Court opinions were thus “entitled to very high respect and consideration in all parallel cases” but were ultimately limited to “the parties to a suit as to the object of that suit.” If the Obama administration thinks the stakes are high enough, it can take the same path.

      – William Baude, a law professor at the University of Chicago on how Obama can simply ignore the upcoming Supreme Court’s decision on Obamacare if unfavorable. (from J Taranto’s column)

    • lysie says:

Cheney is correct. It is not about color of skin. Liberals do that. With conservatives it’s about actions or inactions.

    • The Raven says:

      Here’s another Lysie….

… the left is attributing Netanyahu’s victory to alleged “racism” in his final campaigning.

      -Powerline

    • lysie says:

Ah ha! I see …whenever someone tells the truth it’s racist.

    • lysie says:

Wonderful news! I’ve been praying all day.

    • The Raven says:

      Bibi wins bozo loses

    • Jemian says:

That is excellent news about the Israeli elections. Would that ours would go so well.

For me, this has not been the easiest three weeks. First, I get the first communication from the school director in a year and a half about putting a needs list on the school website of which I am the manager. The second job listed was for my position as six grade teacher. That was a shock. I thought I was doing a good job.

So, tension headaches and depression at in big time.

Next, last Thursday, I develop a rather familiar backache so I had to the lab and clinic. Yup, I have a rather bad kidney infection . Also, high blood pressure. The doc prescribes antibiotics and pain killers. The next day some students act out in class and, for the first time ever, I sent someone to the principal ‘s office. That caused more stress as the kids is the son of another teacher. The boy received a one -day suspension.

Tuesday, yesterday, I go back to the doc ‘s and nothing has changed. So, now I have two types of Medicine for BP as well as the antibiotic.

The boy was back in class on Monday. Yesterday, he apologized.

I am ready for some relaxation.

    • Jemian says:

Oh, yes, and, I learn Monday that I haven’t really been fired. He ‘s just recruiting for when I have to retire.

    • lysie says:

Awww, Jem. Sorry hear about all the unpleasantness. You are in my prayers. Please, get well soon.

Yes, Rav. Bozo loses. LOL Good one.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

I’ m wondering how 0 will react to this….publicly I mean! We can only imagine the private reaction….oh my…on second thought, maybe not a good idea

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Take care Jemian. . Rough time indeed.

    • The Raven says:

      Jem

That’s a lot of stuff. I really doubt they are replacing you (unless the boss is a lib). Maybe you are so good they will give you grades 5 and 4, too. And a child of another teacher….??? How would you expect the teacher to act if it was your child with him or her? Since there was an apology….you did it right.

Your body aches are probably from a combination of past malaria and liberals – R&R needed.

Update: I see you are not getting fired….but when are you retiring?

    • The Raven says:

The headline in the NY Post was … BiBi KING!! Hah ! (The other BB has a good ribs joint in Memphis) — but the big news is his win was comfortable — not close as expected.

    • Jemian says:

Rave, your analysis was very close to what the director was thinking.

  8. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

  9. The Raven says:

    Morning quote:

President Obama had repeatedly made clear his intent to cut out Congress before any deal was reached and the senators made clear that they would not be bound by the terms of a deal that they did not endorse.

S Hayes on “the letter” in the Weekly Std.

  10. lysie says:

    Thanks for the links, Molly.

    Pizza!!!

I have an idea. Instead of wasting time and money on things that don’t concern them…. how about all legislation passed by Congress have one topping…no added on items in a bill so we know what is in it. Cheaper, too.

  11. lysie says:

Molly. Rav and ed, we have tried the La Tortilla Factory low carb tortilla. The best tasting ???, IMO, is garlic and herb flavored tortillas.

    Where to buy.

  12. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

  13. The Raven says:

Molly, your talking points above remind me that the IRS had an email problem as well. I wonder why Valerie Jarrett didn’t jump all over that. Maybe I’ll send her an email and ask her that.

But then again, maybe Hill is innocent
At the end of the day, it comes down to whether we can trust Hillary in what was deleted, hidden. But, since she deleted about half of the 100000 emails as private and claims the other half contain no classified material, it sort of lines up with her record as Secretary of State — she was doing absolutely nothing for all those years…….just sending out emails that said—Hi there……..!!! How are you ??? I’m traveling today !!!

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Yes…you reminded me of my Unified Theory of Hillary….it came to me traveling Friday.

She was indeed just a figurehead. The WH was running the State Dept shop, and Hillary was just traveling around appearing at meetings and so forth. BUT that was the agreement she and 0/Valerie came to. Both of them. She got a prestigious appt. but was not conducting any real business except her own….the Foundation.

And the WH ran the show as it wanted without her input. It certainly explains Benghazi. She was just out of the loop, not up to speed. She resigned as planned , and now…the 0bamas have used the very design they created and she agreed to, to eliminate her from 2016 consideration. That act..the press conference..was designed to keep the WH from launching any more investigations, as much as it was to answer press questions.

    • The Raven says:

      Wow..right on!!!

  14. The Raven says:

    Morning read

Saying ‘so long’ to the First Amendment

-Tammy Bruce on the Democrats plan to control the internet. Will the ATRW blog be judged as adhering to ‘just and reasonable’ conduct? It is a tragedy of the centuries that the Democrat’s long term goals for us are incompatible with transparency, free speech, guns, nukes, logic, the law, and what else?

  15. The Raven says:

They finally got Durst. The longer they took, the more he killed.
