America the Right Way -Staying Vigilant- April 25 , 2015 – April 26, 2015 Remember 9/11 (Weekend Edition)

Last night Bret Baier had an outstanding program about Clinton Foundation’s foreign funding. After taking Greg to a doctor at Urgent Care I’ll check to see if will have a rerun.

  1. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Good morning Nurse, Specialty Cook, Blogger and Super Friend!

    • lysie says:

Good morning, Molly. Super Friend… favorite of the names you gave me… and right back attcha!

    • lysie says:

I heard from till. She’s been busy with the Community Garden.

    • tillacum says:

Oh me, how is Greg now? Thank you for breakfast. This one is interesting.
We were visited by some people who will be looking for spirits this coming October. Because our two motels cannot accommodate their large group, some of us will let
some use our extra bedroom/s. They were a happy group. This is the second time
they have been here. I’d seen some of this on tv, but I didn’t know there was more than one group. They will be looking for some “things” in the older homes, I guess.

    • tillacum says:

WOW, stay away a couple of days and see what happens !! Hopefully Greg is feeling much better, and doing as nurse lysie suggests. How is your son’s ankle doing?
I’ll be putting a keyhole garden together sometime this coming week, with a lot of help
from the friend who’s husband cut the boards. She’s pretty handy. I’ll need to get some carpenter’s glue and a couple steel rolls to keep it together. This one is made of tongue and groove cedar, at least it will smell “woody” when we’re working on it. It will be ready for fall and winter planting. I’m thinking of trying straw bale gardening. It sounds interesting, especially for in ground veggies, ie, beets, carrots, etc. I’ve read the Scandinavians grow potatoes in straw. Some of our veggies are a little slow this year because of the constant rain. We need the rain, to refill our aquafers and lakes. That’s all the excitement from our little town in central Texas. OH, we will be voting in May. Our mayor has a competitor for the first time. There are signs all over town. Local politics are more fun to watch than national ones.

How about Peter Sweitzer’s book coming out? By election time, shrillery will be telling us all the stuff in there is “old news”.

    • The Raven says:

      Potatoes in straw!! Interesting

I was watching FOX this morning and they had on a young black female who was for Ron Paul and she was getting razzed by the black community for supporting Republicans. Her response was defensive and it reminded me of when I was (condescendingly) asked (by a liberal) why I voted the way I do. I am still kicking myself – because I got defensive when the correct answer was:

Don’t ask me why I support a miracle. Ask why in the world do you vote the way you do? Your ideology is a mix of astrology, Aesop’s Fables, and Marxist propaganda that you firmly believe and these false failed promises have held the world’s population in deep poverty have demonized the remarkable free markets, free people solution, and …. [you know….go on the offensive]

    • edinva says:

lysie, how is Greg doing? And your son? And the nurse?

    • lysie says:

Hi ed. So far so good.

My only disappointment for the day was grocery shopping….what a bust. The shelves were not stocked with the sale items I wanted…boo. 🙂

    • Molly Pitcher says:

I had to go to the store also, and found some very poorly stocked shelves. Disappointing.

Church was better, where we had a few minutes devoted to some moving mission testimony on the pro life battle front.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Interesting garden ideas. till. I was talking with some one the other day. She had married years before, a man from Kansas. He loved gardens. So did she, being from the east coast, tho.

Then they found out that his idea of a garden was vegetables, and hers…flowering shrubs, etc.

    • edinva says:

some flowers and bushes are very beneficial to the veggies. There’s a book “Carrots love Peas” about how different plants help others in the garden. This couple can accommodate each other’s preferences, and both come out ahead!

I just read that one of Hillary’s recruited big money guys, in NYC no less, has decided NOT to get active raising $ from his networks because she’s not been forthcoming with answers about the Clinton Fndn/foreign $$/SoS. He said he can’t do it in good conscience. NOW: which is more newsworthy, a big $ Dem operative who’d originally planned to be a Hillary fundraiser refusing to do so OR, finding a Dem with a conscience. Talk amongst yourselves.

  2. The Raven says:

    Democrats in the news quote:

… one student said the picture … was “George Bush.” Other guesses were “a country singer, John Wayne, Kenny Rogers, and Bush’s dad.”

University Of Maryland Students when shown a picture of Ronald Reagan

  3. The Raven says:

Brian Williams is back in the news. So can anyone name a liberal politician who hasn’t lied or embellished? Brian was simply trying to fit in, ya know. I’m sure no one noticed in the crowd he circulates with.

  4. edinva says:

lysie, I hope Greg’s feeling better. Sounds like he’s taken a major hit. Hope you BOTH do better real soon. xoxox

  5. lysie says:

FOX News Special: The Tangled Clinton Web With “Clinton Cash” Author Peter Schweizer

    • Molly Pitcher says:

deep seated religious beliefs must give way per Hillary. This really, really scares me

    • lysie says:

      Lord help us.

    • The Raven says:

Why in the world do we have to put up with left wing whack-o’s ?? Notice Hillary has no competition to the right….so if we manage to roadblock her we get OMalley or Warren.

Why not a Democrat who isn’t a lefty nut? Like our former Dem Governor here in TN, Phil Bredesen? When we had TennCare and were bleeding money, his predessor tried to institute an income tax. He gave an almost conservative response when he followed as governor:

      Morning quote:

“you can’t have Massachusetts services and Tennessee taxes.

      -Phil Bredesen

I didn’t vote for the guy, but if TN had gone the way of the left…we’d be in deep yogurt right now.

  6. Prairie says:

lysie sorry to read that Greg is ill, prayers said for him and hope that he feels better soon. You are correct…fluids, rest, antibiotics, rest, more rest….

    Good morning all.

    • lysie says:

      Thanks, Prairie.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

      Patient is comfortable and cooperative?

And the nurse not too harried, but getting some rest herself…..

Guess what lysie? Talked to someone this a.m. Who was checking out like us…he was from Sodus! He asked where I was headed, and when I told him, he said, oh yes…he was from near L. Ontario….I asked, Syracuse? He said, no closer to Rochester. So then I mentioned Wayne Co., and Lyons, and boy was he surprised that not only did I know Wayne co, but Sodus, too, which he was from…took awhile to get to that point tho, as he figured I wouldn’t know where the heck that was.!

    • lysie says:

Wow! What is the chance of that, Molly? I wonder if we know the man?

      I’m fine, thanks, Molly.

I didn’t mention. My son is here, too. ..broken ankle and all. It’s like being a mommy again, only instead of a small son and small daughter….two sons. 😉

  7. Molly Pitcher says:

lysie sure hope you get some help for G. and he is feeling better soon, soon!

We are about to set out for home. That Fox News special will be repeated, no doubt.

  8. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

    • The Raven says:

Yodel!!! I was doing yard work all day yesterday and missed the fun.
And then I thought of an idea. Let’s raise the voting age to 28 or in the case of immigrants, 10 years of working. Hah !!….

But, until then, we have Hillary. It seems another scandal is called for to put her over the tipping point. How about if the Koch Brothers give her campaign a donation? Did you see the topic of her first speech?

      Scourge Of Sexual Assault’

This is the woman who is married to the serial rapist?

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Hey Raven…am having a hard time posting today’s links, so will have to let it go and there is at least one good piece about whacko environmentalism…but will catch it later
