America the Right Way -Staying Vigilant- May 30 , 2015 – May 31, 2015 Remember 9/11 (Weekend Edition)

Would you like to make $1,000 an hour? All you have to do is become a contract IRS lawyer. That is the amount they are paying private attorneys to conduct high-profile audits.

If the USDA has its way there will be no more chocolate and marshmallows and graham crackers(s’mores) at the campfire. They are suggesting putting strawberries and low-fat yogurt on graham crackers.

What Could be the Problem?? hmmmm….the economy

HBO’s most subversively conservative show…Anyone seen this? The Federalist

    Sunday quote:

The Clinton Foundation “received as much as $26.4 million in previously undisclosed payments” from corporations, foreign sources and other groups in 2014, The Washington Post reported 10 days ago.

That’s in addition to “millions” in foreign donations for the years 2010 to 2013 that were not reported until Reuters asked about them in April. Which were in addition to millions in foreign donations the Clinton Foundation acknowledged after The Washington Post asked about them in February.

    OK…Hillary’s biggest weaknesses are:
    1) She’s corrupt
    2) She has never done anything
    3) She’s married to Bubba
    4) She lies
    5) She is a socialist and the economy and the nation will get worst.
Her biggest strength is she gets a gazillion electoral votes right out of the gate.

So why don’t the Republicans use the Democrat strategy and in unison, from every voice in the party, start saying over and over that she is corrupt and she has a chronic habit of telling whoppers. Don’t get into the details…and it will sink in. (I said Democrat strategy…but they do this even if it isn’t true). So we can add- she drinks too much, as well.

Gotta love the S’mless, eh? Can’t the govt just keep its nose out of ANYTHING? Of course, people will get more upset about that than, say, beheading a couple dozen Christians in the Middle East. I did see a chart the other day showing “incidents” of obesity. Interestingly it’s waaaaaay higher now than in ’09. Thanks, Michelle, your diet plans are working splendidly.

Gorgeous day here, tad on the hot side. Went to a ladies’ luncheon with a group we used to socialize with, but had lost contact over the past several years, so nice to see those familiar faces. It was at a local CC, which was simultaneously hosting a graduation party for 500 from the nearby Episcopal H.S. The grads looks so lovely .. all the girls in the prettiest white dresses, guys in nice khakis. My faith in youth sometimes is restored.

Good morning all, Happy Weekend. Must share the very sad news that our friend and mandolin-player band-mate has passed away from cancer. This was a very sudden occurrence he was only diagnosed a couple of weeks ago. It sounded invasive at that time, but initial plans were for chemo and radiation then possible surgery later on….but none of that came to pass as he developed complications, then organ failure and died yesterday. We are unable to go to the funeral with my travel restrictions right now. Will send card, memorial or flowers instead. I *think* that he was saved in Christ Jesus….guess I’m not 100% certain, but sure hope so. (He was the kind of person who wouldn’t share that….not sure why, it would certainly help those left here grieving to know.

RIP Rick. You are already missed.
