America the Right Way -Staying Vigilant- June 15, 2015 – June 19, 2015 Remember 9/11

Hello!

Ok…Hillary! is relaunched and it was something of a Dud. Now Jeb!, new logo and all, will announce tomorrow.

So, do 2 Duds make a right?

In other news, those 2 escapees are still escaped. Or maybe not….new theory: they wandered into some quicksand in one of those swamps the reporters keep mentioning and never wandered out. So they will never be found….the Jimmy Hoffas of prison escapees.

And 0’s presidency is effectively over as of last Friday, so the pundits say.

    Yankees in the news

A-Rod hit #3000 and it was a homer (joining Jeter and Boggs in that feat)…and most amazing is the fan who caught the homer wrote a book called How to Snag Major League Baseballs. How weird is that?

  2. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

      Good morning!

Yesterday, as it happened, the wrap-up on my White Horse CD set (discussion of Reformed theology) that I get every month to listen to in the car, was a sermon on ordinary providence. It was a good day to hear that message of God working thru us every day in simple, ordinary-seeming ways to advance His work in this very flawed world….so…maybe no miracles today, but lots of ordinary providence! Look for it and be grateful for those times and those people.

    • lysie says:

      Good morning.

      Yes. Amen to that, Molly.

    • Jemian says:

What a great thought! God working thru us every day … to advance His work. I spent quite a bit of time in prayer from my students from another faith. They have moved to another province and are away from our influence. But God’s Word will NOT return to Him void! It WILL work in their lives. PTL!

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Yes….and sometimes as the speaker said, it takes awhile…seeds are planted, but it’s awhile before growth appears, right? Think of our gardens!

Well, this is a traveling day, so at the end of it, when I reply again, I will be a couple of time zones earlier than I am now.

Be safe everyone, and don’t Friday Party tooooo much., heh….

    • The Raven says:

      >>> and don’t Friday Party tooooo much., heh….

You know what they say, Molly, ….”When the cat’s away….the mice will play…..” — no supervision for us….PARRRR TEEEEE !!!!

Lysie….the R’s in the news below was especially for you…..

    • lysie says:

Well, then… thank you again. Blake seems like a very nice man.

    • lysie says:

Sometimes I think I don’t belong in the current times. I just don’t understand some people’s reasoning.

  3. The Raven says:

    Morning quote

“It is a favorite phrase on the left that almost everything, including race and personality is a social construct. If everything is a social construct that is created by the promptings of society, then if a sufficient number of extremely clever progressives can take charge of regulating in the most minute way the promptings of society they can produce almost anything they want. They can turn white into black and black into white. She is a symptom and not an encouraging one.”

    Democrats in the news

“..In October, Gov. Nikki Haley defended flying the Confederate flag outside the South Carolina statehouse” – Tweet by Brandon Friedman, former deputy assistant secretary for public affairs at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development

[WTF? @BFriedmanDC How does this help? Are you accusing Nikki Haley? Absolutely classless] – response by conservative Dana Loesch

And then there is Matthew Apperson, charged with attempted murder of George Zimmerman 3 weeks after release from a mental institution

  5. Molly Pitcher says:

I have been thinking recently of the book, and its memorable title, that I read decades ago in h.s.: Cry, the Beloved Country….about S. Africa.

0 will be speaking soon. Not looking forward to this.

    • lysie says:

0 will be speaking soon. On the church shooting. I pray he doesn’t fan the flames. It’s a very, very sad thing, but…….adding fuel to a smoldering fire is not the answer.

    • lysie says:

And…from… what ..I read…he did just that….fan the flames and throw more fuel.

      #&#&$#*%&#%)@)$)@#_@#@#@3!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Yes, and it was self referential too…oh well. We have to move on from this odious person, turn the page, and pray for a better future without him in the highest office in our country

    • The Raven says:

I suppose if he fans the flames so can we. Something like

Unfortunately at election time the Democrats find some way of hiring a hit man to shoot up or burn a church. Or in some cases, use chains to drag minorities through the streets….so they can make it seem like the Republicans are at fault … with the media in full support of the charade and murders for votes.

    • lysie says:

      I’m praying, Molly…bigtime.

Sounds good, Rav. The stuck on stupid people would never believe it, though.

  6. lysie says:

Good morning everyone. Back home after a great time with our friends.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Oh that is wonderful…glad all went so well. There was a horrible massacre in S.C. last night….besides the effect on those directly involved, and that is bad enough, it’s going to stir the racial pot and politics something terrible.

    • lysie says:

Terrible, yes. I agree. Why add to the already tense atmosphere? I don’t understand.

    • lysie says:

Oh and thanks for your donations to a good cause.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

The shootings occurred in a church, where those present were attending a prayer meeting. I wonder if the media will discuss the anti-Christian aspects as much as the racial aspects? Horrible, horrible

    • lysie says:

      Good point, Molly.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

changing the subject in a more positive direction….did you hear about the 2 little boys who rushed into a burning mobile home and saved 2 babies??? in Florida…

    • lysie says:

      No I didn’t read that.

    • The Raven says:

Looks like I may have to change allegiance to Rand Paul for the same reason I was excited about Reagan from the get-go

      Quote:

My tax plan would blow up the tax code and start over. In consultation with some of the top tax experts in the country, including the Heritage Foundation’s Stephen Moore, former presidential candidate Steve Forbes and Reagan economist Arthur Laffer, I devised a 21st-century tax code that would establish a 14.5% flat-rate tax applied equally to all personal income, including wages, salaries, dividends, capital gains, rents and interest. All deductions except for a mortgage and charities would be eliminated. The first $50,000 of income for a family of four would not be taxed.

    • lysie says:

Sounds like he has a good plan.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Well, on that issue he and I agree, at least.

  7. Molly Pitcher says:

US may lift Sanctions Earlier Of course! We should not be surprised….

  8. tillacum says:

Good Morning Molly. Yes, we’re getting more rain. It’s not too much, yet. We usually receive 36 inches a year. With the drought for so many years, we really need this moisture to refill all of our lakes, under and above ground, rivers. We’ve received about 30 inches, so we have a bit to go. Our stock tanks are filling and in some areas overflowing, but we’re happy to get the rain.
My roses are loving this rain, and the garden is drinking this water with relish.

  9. lysie says:

Good morning everyone. Friends are coming to the camp this morning to fish. Greg suggested that we stay overnight last night. So, we did. Sarah is home with pets.

  10. lysie says:

Donald Trump announces he is in the race.

  11. lysie says:

Molly, thanks for the links. They have reinforced my views on libs and progs. Why is it libs and progs demand others be more tolerant while being the most intolerant?

  12. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

  13. Prairie says:

How To Escape The Age Of Mass Delusion

Apparently Rush was talking about this. It’s a little lengthy but seems well worth the read. I’m going to print it out for more leisurely reading. Good afternoon all.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

That Is definitely something to read…missed Limbaugh, so thanks prairie….,you getting stronger, I hope.

    • Prairie says:

I think so Molly although it’s been surprisingly slower and more difficult than I’d imagined. I’m pretty sure being older has no bearing on that though….

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Ha… Oh no…nothing to do with it at all.

    • The Raven says:

The talk show host, Savage has been calling for right wing propagandists to fight back. Then we’ll be in real trouble.

      Good article….here’s a quote

If one can isolate the mass, allow no free thinking, no free exchange, no outside correction and can hypnotize the group daily with noises, with press and radio and television, with fear and pseudo-enthusiasms, any delusion can be instilled.”

    • Molly Pitcher says:

      Great quote there, yes…

Something needs to change and fast, before this becomes too fixed…too SOP….then we are in huge trouble.

    • lysie says:

      Thanks. Very good article, Prairie.

It pained me to read it because I grew up in a time that is so different than today. The progressive way of thinking is foreign to me. I will never speak that language.

  14. lysie says:

    Thanks for the start, Molly.

    Good morning everyone.

  15. The Raven says:

    Morning quote:

“Microaggressions are the everyday verbal, nonverbal, and environmental slights, snubs, or insults, whether intentional or unintentional, that communicate hostile, derogatory, or negative messages to target persons based solely upon their marginalized group membership . The first step in addressing microaggressions is to recognize when a microaggression has occurred and what message it may be sending. The context of the relationship and situation is critical. Below are common themes to which microaggressions attach.”

“I believe the most qualified person should get the job.”
“America is the land of opportunity.”

from Janet Napolitano’s initiative “Recognizing Microaggressions and the Messages They Send.” in Michael Hausam’s column

  16. The Raven says:

Just got a late start to the weekend thread’s trans-everything edition of the week in pics.

Question…..since the guys can become girls and girls can become guys….with hormones and stuff – and let’s say you are Bruce Jenner and feeling like you’re really a woman in a man’s body……then you must be able to go in either direction…..instead of becoming a woman, he could have taken the man pills and saved the expense of the operation to remove his junk and he could keep his clothing. Has anyone gone this way??
