Interesting fact about Obamacare that no one discusses. Everyone, it seems, is slowly but surely being shuffled into a high deductible plan. I’m guessing it is because most don’t realize they will have some huge bills come due when they get sick. Or they think Obama will pay.
When Milton Friedman looked at health care, his solution was a combination of low priced, high deductible catastrophic insurance and heath savings accounts to cover both everyday doc visits and the high deductibles and indeed this is similar to what Whole Foods offered (later demonized by the left for having a market oriented approach).
But, for the Republicans….it offers a simple solution……keep the high deductibles, subtract the everyday coverage (like birth control), and add HSAs (for birth control).
Good point about the R plan…it has to be a combination of items which offer great flexibility for individual situations. What is so difficult about this?? Goodness….:

Raven I either listen to Bennett live online thru my desktop or IPad….sometimes, having a Membership, I catch up thru that facility again via IPad or computer. I am very low tech. The thing is he has a great, intelligent audience. He does terrific, thoughtful interviews, plus commentary, and there is early a.m. humor too!
He is on SiriusXM as well–Which I have…but I always forget turn him on. My new favorite is Chris Plante who replaced Beck on our local radio station – anybody here get Chris at 10AM ??

Significant downpour here. I made it back to the car, out shopping, just in time and now am home. Glad I went out to garden this a.m. The mosquitoes are bad several have said, but they don’t seem to like me…not sweet enough?
OH, you are so lucky. I actually had 2 women who always wanted me on their 4some
(golf) because I attracted the mosquitoes and nats, I was also pretty good in those days and we usually won. No I am not “sweet”, blunt, and still a pretty good golfer.
Wow! Poured here, too. We were inside Tractor Supply when it started. We had to wait inside at least 30 minutes because we didn’t want the bags of feed getting wet.
After we were home and unloaded…another downpour.
Just had another one.
We, too, had a downpour. I was at Walgreens and following a thunder boom, the lights went out as I was handing my cash payment over. Doggone it. I then had to wait about 15 minutes for the aux power to kick in and the computers to reboot. All the while, the streets were flooding.
