Tropical storm Erika leaves the Dominican Republic after killing 20 people and 31 people missing. Say prayers as it heads towards Florida.

Even though a judge ruled against the EPA’s clean water rule the EPA will enforce it. Imagine that! /S

Sorry I wasn’t here much. At the last minute we decided to go to the NYS Fair. After 8+ hours I’m beat. Had fun, though. Saw a pig race….wolf show ….bird of prey show and much more. 🙂

    Good morning everyone.

Early a.m. Greetings! I turned on the game last night, and lo and behold…a Rain Delay ….in Cleveland! So I rushed to the windows, around the house, searching, searching…but everything here was still dry as a bone.

    • lysie says:

Good morning Molly Thanks for all the links.

Darn. Sure wish you would get that much needed rain.

    • The Raven says:

Must be the jet stream. We have rain almost every day. When we went to Europe, we asked the neighbor to mind our pool chlorination. He told me it rained so much he had to drain the pool for an hour as it was overflowing. I had to drain it when I got back…. That’s a total of about 6-9 inches in 2 weeks. And we have that tropical storm coming.

    • lysie says:

Wow! That’s too much rain. Wow!

Costco had the Traeger mini pellet grill on sale for only $320 and I got one. This is the greatest idea for cooking chicken ever invented. Cooked a bird on it yesterday and am still thinking about it. It was really good. Next is a brisket.

I just ordered folding legs for it so I can throw it into the RV when we travel

    • lysie says:

      OK you’ve done it. I’m hungry. 🙂

That looks like a serious BBQ-er.

Funny you mentioned Costco. Sarah and I were there yesterday, too.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

      Well, happy grilling!

Ok…local news time: Our long-time (decades, sigh) mayor resigned abruptly last we are facing a hard fought primary for the Dems, and a new face on the R side…The latter is a lawyer, and he happens to be Black! Friday, for some reason we got a call, a real, live call, on behalf of one of the Dems…I was able to politely tell the gal to take us off her call list. We voted the other party.

And a couple of weeks ago, I forgot to mention a great event: the 2 Goodyear blimps were in town for days, dancing in the skies together for days above the city. I think the older one is headed West for retirement, but not quite sure. Anyway, it was fun to see the 2 in the air at one time, and a lot of people enjoyed it.

Good morning Molly, Rav and till.

Horrible shooting of a Texas deputy…horrible and sad.

  5. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.
