I think Biden is running…..on the sympathy vote. Hillary! was supposed to get the woman’s vote, but it may be Biden’s to win after all.

What do you think?

And with a strong withdrawal speech, Rick Perry has dropped out of the race.

    Good morning.

Good Morning Everyone. It’s a Cooool day in central Texas. Wonderful day.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

How did your garden turn out this year? Around here, it was a tough summer for vegetables, etc.

    • The Raven says:

Our garden was overrun with weeds — terrible year

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Well, you had too much rain, and around here, too little. Where was the happy medium? That’s what I’m wondering…

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Just back from errands, where I ran into someone wearing a Hillsdale College sweatshirt, so of course the stranger doesn’t seem so strange… So I said “Hillsdale!” in recognition, and he replied “Great school!”. “Yes, it is,” i answered back…2 conservatives connecting briefly, I’m thinking…

Our garden drowned and what was left burned up. I do have a pitiful looking jalapeno (JUMBO) size then a grasshopper ate it’s 2 leaves. My tomato plant is 2 & 1/2 feet tall, pretty leaves and flowers. The package says it can grow 7# tomatoes, but haven’t seen one yet.
A few days ago we got our raised and keyhole gardens ready for fall & winter planting. We did some cabbage plants (some died), romaine lettuce are doing beautifully, Today I spread some India mustard seed and some vigorous (?) winter mustard seed and spread some spinach mustard seeds, planted Kentucky pole beans and some yellow pod Chinese peas, summer straight neck squash and cukes. Gardening is so much fun. We get to play in the dirt then play with water and see what happens. Luckily the other day a Master gardener joined us complete with all sorts of seeds. He wanders around and when he sees someone who needs gardening help, he joins in and helps. He’s retired so he and his dog look for places to plant whatever seeds he’s saved from the past year or someone’s given him an interesting seed, just to see what it grows into. We have some.
We do need to improve the watering system. Pulling around 150 foot hose is no fun and I’m a nit picker.
That’s all from our little metropolis in central Texas.
Is lysie still at the fishing camp?

    • Molly Pitcher says:

What a report! The master gardener and his mission, especially is pretty amazing….don’t know about lysie…we are still getting swamped with rain here
