The left has no shame. First they trashed Maggie Thatcher. Then Reagan. Now Lech Welesa …who’s left? John Paul of course. Why? Because they blew the doors off liberalism in the 80s

    • Molly Pitcher says:

That’s what they do…rewrite history, repeat, repeat, repeat that false history, teach, teach, teach it, and voila!~~~~ a generation of poorly educated, brainwashed young voters. Oh! Then to cap it off, you elect a president who goes before those young ill informed people, take advantage (child abuse??) of their ignorance, and on, and on it goes.

Molly, the “tired of being stuck” article is a heart breaker. Why can’t the people see that under Sanders they will be stuck further? Taxes need to be reduced ..not increased so business can expand.

  3. lysie says:

Due to the mild weather earlier this month, Greg was able to tap our maple trees. It looks like he will be boiling the sap soon.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Oh, that is good to read. Now is every year a sap producing one? I know it can vary…the amount, that is. When we were over in sugar cane territory a few days ago we learned that some years..no sugar cane…something gets to the canes, and there’s no crop..big loss.. Well this might have been mostly in the past.

We did IHOP yesterday after a good walk. I had blue berry pancakes…3, and used boysenberry syrup…going lightly with that. My husband had a whole grain with nuts concoction…maple syrup . The service was very good and we got a senior discount!

    Good morning everyone.

    Sad.

We just found out that our friend, John, was killed in a car accident when the driver of another car hit John’s car head on. John was on his way to work. He owned a automotive repair shop and was about 50 feet from the shop’s driveway when he was hit. 😦 😦 😦

RIP, John. You were another member of our music family.

IHOP is such a neat place to go when breaking a diet. I did that and it was WONDERFUL, Go ahead and order a short stack. YUMMY

      OK! Thanks till….
Now here’s a short movie review: we went to see Risen yesterday. It’ s a low key movie about the aftermath of Jesus’s death. Our expectations were pretty measured & We pick movies carefully, too. So we were both happy with this one. It focuses on one Roman tribune, so that part is largely (but not completely)* a fictional insert into the Biblical story, but the background itself IS history. And the mystery part (what the tribune is tasked with) is quite plausible, too. *The gospel accounts are full of all sorts of characters, and one, at least, mentions a Roman centurion.

Thanks for the review, Molly. I have a few I want to see when they come out on DVD. It’s a waste for me to go to a theater. I must have closed caption. This one I will include. 🙂

BTW, it’s beautiful outside. ….sunny and almost 50 degrees. Yippee!

    • Jemian says:

I just looked up Risen. You can pre-order it for $15 on iTunes. FYI.

    • lysie says:

Thanks, Jem. I’ll check that out.

  7. lysie says:

Hi Jem. I saw your post on last week’s thread. Feeling well?

  8. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

Rav, I think the Mavericks started in the Miami Beach area, not Nashville. We have seen their show 3 times. You won’t/can’t sit still.
