Sad to report…Nancy Reagan has died

  2. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

March 6, 2016 – NATIONAL OREO COOKIE DAY – NATIONAL FROZEN FOOD DAY – NATIONAL WHITE CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE DAY – NATIONAL DENTIST’S DAY

    • The Raven says:

Good morning from very sunny Florida.

Yes! My man Cruz !!! (delegate count now Trump 378 Cruz 295)

The RV park we are in has about 100 “cabins” which are actually mobile homes and are very inexpensive homes away from home. They are all less money than my truck cost. We peeked at a few yesterday and one has our interest. We may pull the trigger on this. Funny…the units coming on the market are all from Canadians. There is a annual maintenance fee for mowing the grass, swimming pool, etc and the dollar exchange rate is killing them.

Meanwhile, the Country tune “My Church” is renting space in me.

    • lysie says:

Good morning, Rav. That’s like our “camp”. We have no complaints.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Good morning and thank you! Good to read you had a nice Friday night lysie.
Raven sounds like you are getting attached to that FL place?…Or maybe you are not that sentimental, but I am thinking you are.
I am a “place” person…certain places come to take up spaces in my heart and it’s a lovely feeling. Most of them are related to water, born on a island I was. Anyway…good luck with your idea of buying. I have a cousin in AZ spending the winter, and she and her husband have done that for 3 years now in their camp…very happy with the arrangement.

And speaking of happiness…so glad to see Cruz getting some votes. YAY! He’s always been at the top for me, but I do have some concern about his communication skills & ability to reach beyond the most ardent conservatives. He’s waay smart, and he may have to balance that with a little dash of….what, I’m not sure yet.

    • The Raven says:

Lysie. How do you insure the “cabins”…. through your local insurance agency at home or someone near the cabin location ???

Molly – yes…really like this area.
The grandkids, the beaches, great restaurants, are all nearby. Really nice people. Tons of activities (I’m in the photography club).

One bug-a-boo is we spent 4 year with Satellite internet in TN and finally, ATT came to town with UVerse and we can now watch Netflix and such. Florida is a park WiFi and during the day, it slows to a halt as everybody uses it. The alternative (ugh) is satellite internet!!

      Still have “My Church” playing

    • lysie says:

Yes. Insurance is required by our campground owners. It’s not very expensive because it’s an older travel camper off wheels.

    • lysie says:

Well, well. I’m sure there is a logical and fair reason behind that. /s
      ….cough…cough.

    • The Raven says:

      Democrats in the news

      – In countries of the left persuasion, good luck. Maintenance workers turn off power to elevator for a month. But a woman was still in there.

    • lysie says:

      How sad and horrible! 😦

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Oreo cookie day! Very good. My father loved them, and so did I especially as a little girl

    • lysie says:

I’m a huge Oreo cookie fan, but I would love some white chocolate cheesecake. Never had it before. I bet it’s yummy.

  3. Molly Pitcher says:

The Week in Pictures: Peak Trump Edition Powerline.

I was just reading a report.. Apparently Trump and his campaign advisor blatantly broke the debate rules in Detroit, & then refused to comply, the Fox folks had to let the other 3 men similarly consult with their advisors during the debate breaks.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Sad…so distressing when you think especially of all the prayers said in prison camps…of cherished Bible verses remembered and quoted. Oh my, will not one brave bureaucrat stand firm?

  4. Molly Pitcher says:

It’ll never stop til we are all completely brainwashed.

    • The Raven says:

      Morning quote:

“The principles of conservatism are sound because they’re based on what men and women have discovered through experience. In not just one generation, or a dozen, but in all the combined experience of mankind.”

      – Mark Levin channeling Reagan at CPAC (calling for conservatives to get behind one candidate)

  5. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

March 5 -NATIONAL CHEESE DOODLE DAY

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Dang. Did I read that right??? 51%??
Did you enjoy the music last night? Good morning…yesterday was gray , gray, gray…more of that today it seems.

    • lysie says:

The music was great and the fish dinner was, too.

Sadly, that’s what Drudge has. How can that be? I know. It’s all the free stuff.

    • The Raven says:

I just read an article on inequality. It got worse under Obama and Clinton and much better under Reagan. Hah!! Can we finally stop talking about it?

Speaking of Clinton (the other one)…the WSJ speculates that the Pagliano’s Immunity may be to first step to Hillary’s aides taking the hit for the server/email fiasco. She is too big to fail. And they warn against it (see below)

      Morning quote:

But those aides—and the country—wouldn’t be in this mess if Mrs. Clinton hadn’t set up an off-grid account to evade disclosure laws and protect her messages from public scrutiny when she ran for President. Her employees can hardly be blamed for using a system she designed, and Mrs. Clinton was responsible as the senior official for knowing the classification rules.

The Democrats found a solution. Delay and slow walk it until after the election.

    • The Raven says:

Here in Florida, Rubio has non-stop anti-Trump ads on every channel. I am so sick of them, I turn the volume down. But look how the polls have reacted to the ads in late February:
      Real Clear Politics Florida GOP
Rubio is going up but so is Trump. Cruz is taking the hit.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

We haven’t gotten any calls here in Ohio the past week, but there are ads on tv…but not as many as I would think. Anyway, there are some caucuses today I think.

    • The Raven says:

Yes…closed caucuses without Dems crossing over to vote for Trump
