America the Right Way -Staying Vigilant- May 9, 2016 – May 13, 2016 Remember 9/11

Hello!

There are 2 more primaries this week: one in WV. Does anyone expect Hillary! to beat Bernie in that state?

As for the Rs…Ryan and Trump will have a pow-wow Thursday, Reince Priebus passing the peace pipe. Look for this story to preoccupy the media for most of the week.

It’s more fun to think of the Derby winner, Nyquist, and his next race at the Belmont.

    Democrats in the News:

Dems on FEC shift from regulating Drudge to conservative cellphone texts
-Not sure what to do with this – Dems are out of their minds

    And then there’s this.

So there’s this Boing 727 that flies for entertainment purposes by providing group sex in a king sized bed with plenty of young women.

And take a guess who has taken a ride 22 times?

  2. lysie says:

Sorry I missed the afternoon TGIF!

Will this make up for it?

  3. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Hey! a little shower overnight…trying to sort out the day here. Unexpectedly, husband has told me he has a commitment this morning…fine, wasn’t on my radar screen, but fine.

    • lysie says:

Hello, Molly. Rain for the next few days. Greg usually pulls a “I’m going to_______. You ready? Are you coming with me? As he walks out the door.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

      HA! That is so good.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Oh gosh….hard to make those course corrections, so quickly. Today’s doesn’t involve me…but usually we keep each other informed of all the calendar stuff…appts., meetings….no big deal

    • lysie says:

Little does he know , I’m so far ahead of him. I can sense when he is going to do that. There are little signs I pick up on and I’m prepared. LOL

    • lysie says:

Ha, Rav. Personally, I think it’s a tad too polite. LOL

    • tillacum says:

Thank you for breakfast. Looks good.
Geraldo gave a good explanation this a.m. why Ryan won’t endorse the Donald. He thinks Ryan WANTS to be president and our elected think themselves more intelligent than the rest of us. I personally think Romney is stirring the pot in the GOP. He is so jealous of Trump winning over fly-over country citizens, he can’t stand it.

    • lysie says:

You are welcome, till. Good morning.

I think Ryan doesn’t want to look like a bad guy. He’s gathering supporters and then they all will come down on Trump. After all, insiders stick together. Must not have an outsider beat them.

    • The Raven says:

Same place…earlier sign (both are down now)

    • Molly Pitcher says:

      I like this sign too…need the laughs….

    • The Raven says:

This synthetic is 50X the power of heroin:

Unlike heroin, which requires large swaths of land for poppy production, fentanyl is the product of simple chemistry. U.S. officials believe much of the supply comes from illegal labs in Mexico, meaning there is no need for prescribing doctors, the enablers of an earlier generation of American pain-pill abuse. Some buyers have even ordered fentanyl, or close imitations of it, through the mail from factories in China.

  5. Prairie says:

    (melodically)…Well halo, everybody, halo!
It’s been a very long time since I’ve been able to shake loose and post a bit here, hope y’all knew I was thinking about you even if I couldn’t be here. Mr. Prairie and I have been so very busy getting the new digs up to snuff and then…..TWO MAJOR WINTER STORMS since we’ve been here! Over 4 feet of snow! Everybody here, even the full-timers, has been astounded at that sort of accumulation this late in the year. Anyway, after just a few mishaps, we actually managed quite well and it’s mostly melted off now, except for the shadowy areas and bigger drifts. My, my, we’ll never forget this first Spring here. The mountain peaks are simply magnificent with the snow and the streams will be running for a good long time.

Trump has sewn it up and the kabuki dances go on. I should be able to keep tabs here more frequently which I look forward to, thank you all for the news updates.

  6. lysie says:

ed, I hope you don’t mind. I’m bringing your post over here.

” Well, well, well…. the big news of the week may be a decision today in the federal court in DC by Judge Collyer … (U.S. House of Reps v Burwell) finding the Obama Admin having acted illegally in reimbursing insurance companies BILLIONS of $$$ over the past 2 years for coverage of low-income subscribers with $$$ not authorized by the House (if I understand the case properly).

She’s a judge at the District Court level; the gov can choose to appeal at the Appellate level or go to SCOTUS. No one seems to think it’ll be settled before O leaves office. That’s assuming O actually leaves office. Looks like the Rs in the House have FINALLY done something worthwhile!”

Yahoooo! I pray it will stand.

    • The Raven says:

Unfortunately for us…the corruption of the Dems runs in the courts as well.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

      Yes, some good news….thanks!

    • edinva says:

lysie, I’m just a hopeless idiot when it comes to figuring out how/where to post!!! Glad you moved it here. It is a story with potentially enormous consequences. So today the $&@^! had to put out an “advisory” signed by DOJ and Dept of Ed. with threat to school districts across the country about accommodating ‘trans-genders.’ Honestly, can 1/20/17 come soon enough?

  7. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

  8. lysie says:

    Good evening. Gorgeous weather today.

Molly, I did some exercising today, but mostly yoga-type for stretching.

  9. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

  10. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

    Morning quotes:

Most Americans no longer know what America stands for. For them, America has become just another country, a place located between Canada and Mexico.

Have you ever seen an incredible talent who is destroying himself? An Elvis Presley, a Jimi Hendrix, a John Belushi? A Marilyn Monroe, a Prince, an Amy Winehouse? What do you think when you look at someone who’s rich, famous, gifted and has the world at his fingertips after he just throws it all away?

Well, America is in the same situation.

    • lysie says:

Hi, Rav. Thanks for the quotes.

I thank my maternal family. They taught me respect and pride for my country. Our country is still great. It’s the idiots in office who make her look bad. Many do it intentionally.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Well, the Left preaches America’s UN exceptionalism…in the schools, universities, politicians..year after year. And the conservatives haven’t been exactly asleep at the wheel, but they ‘ve been too complacent. And here we are.
I know there are smart, young conservatives who understand. I pray their numbers grow

  12. lysie says:

On yesterday’s thread ed posted that North Carolina governor sues DOJ over bathroom law!! Thanks ed.

  13. lysie says:

Good morning everyone. Thanks for the start, Molly and Rav, and your morning quotes, thank you.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Good morning and thanks do much lysie….lovely day ahead here I hope. A lot of the businesses and homes in this downtown area have large baskets of flowers on their front doors..very appealing. I think the local garden group promoted the effort

    • lysie says:

Flowers are definitely a ” pick me upper”.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Yes, flower boxes, baskets, large containers…the amazing array of items used..

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Wow, that will take some effort to digest…I read Walker every so often, and try, try to get the brain cells working but it is hard. Super that you can appreciate his science posts.
