America the Right Way -Staying Vigilant- September 12, 2016 – September 16, 2016 Remember 9/11

Many across the country today remembered and honored the day, the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

But most of the news was of the very strange illness and collapse of Hillary! at the New York City events.

Just how ill is she??

And oh, are you one of the people who belongs in the “Basket of Deplorables”? And what kind of odd phrase is that? There’s a Parade of Horribles, but the other phrase is so odd, it had to be deliberately concocted.

    Good morning Lysie!!!!

  2. The Raven says:

    Morning quote:

Conservatives deal with progressive drivel on a daily basis, you don’t see us running to safe spaces, crying about being triggered, and trying to eviscerate one’s right to free speech and expression

    – Matt Vespa, Townhall

  3. Molly Pitcher says:

Giving up on Hillary! too soon to count the chickens tho…
I think my mind is going…it’s this campaign… I keep remembering these old old sayings…

  4. Molly Pitcher says:

    Good morning all

    • lysie says:

      Good morning everyone.
Thanks for the yummy breakfast, Molly.
      Still, very tired.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

You take care….I have a thought you were very tired going into the surgery, and now it is all going to take time and rest to sort out.

    • lysie says:

Thanks ,Molly. I plan on taking it easy for several more days,

    • tillacum says:

lysie, just take it easy, dear heart. Just do you therapy then REST. Greg, make her
      take it easy. Thank you.
Thanks for breakfast Molly. Those eggs looked like mine, no toast, just bacon.

    • The Raven says:

Lysie!! Chicken soup for you. And TV soaps. And sleep.

Outa here. Gotta pack. Tomorrow we are off to Wisconsin to see my MIL. Gonna take the RV, For safety, I have my blind spot warning system. It has a loud audio warning system sitting in the passenger seat. LOL Took little time to install and is completely wireless.
But..we’ll have to listen to the game on the radio.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Funny about the warning signal! Yes, my husband has one of those also…took a few years for him to catch on tho…Safe travels…hope you don’t have to get too close to Chicagoland on your route….way too congested, etc.

    • The Raven says:

Yep…we are completely bypassing Chicago (I39 TO I43). When towing an RV, cities are bummers. It will add one hour or so to the trip, however.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Yes….a wide swing around Chicago…worth it definitely…we drove up I 39 thru c. IL earlier in the summer.

  5. The Raven says:

Well, Jem. We play Ohio on Saturday, then 4 straight weeks of top 20 teams follows ending with Alabama. I see you have something similar. Here we go.

  6. The Raven says:

    Morning quote:

For years, Democrats have steadfastly portrayed Republicans as elitist fat cats who buy elections, as backroom bosses who rig the laws in their favor, as brass-knuckle lobbyists and operators who get special access. It turns out that this is the precise description of the Democratic Party. They know of what they speak.

    – Kim Strassel, WSJ after reading the Hillary, DNC emails

  7. Prairie says:

Molly, and everybody, hello. I’m doing well, we remain in our northern command, the aspens are turning and the mountainsides will be beautiful in a couple of weeks. We plan to return to the southern command sometime next month but have gotten a bit side-tracked with some construction work on our garage being delayed. So, time will tell, but we have plenty of firewood….usually lighting the woodstove in the mornings at this time.

The attendance at Clinton’s return to the campaign trail even was beyond dismal. Minus the security personnel, the media and the event workers I’d put it at not much over 100 in attendance. I’ll try to post the link

  8. lysie says:

    Yes. I’m resting,

  9. The Raven says:

    Things they are a-changin’

    Portman + 20
Trump + 6 (General Election) – may all come down to Pennsylvania
    Florida Trump +4 (CNN)
    Ohio Trump +3 (CNN)
    Virginia (tie)
    Mich. – Tie
    NC – Tie
    Rubio + 11 (CNN)
    Toomey +1 (Quinnipac)
    Joe Heck +3 (Mon.)

What is unfortunate is the illegals count for electoral votes….so they give California and Nevada, for example, more electoral votes at the expense of citizens.

    • lysie says:

      Thank you Molly.

    • tillacum says:

AH, Molly, that is a darling message to lysie. I add my Get Well Soon, and be pain free
In nobama’s campaign speech for Hillary, he mentioned himself 137 times. Arrogant

    • tillacum says:

I had to chuckle. During Trump’s speech in a Methodist church, in Flint, MI, he did very well, until the last couple of minutes. He was not there to make a campaign speech, but
to let the citizens know he was aware of their water situation and he would help fix
it when he became president. But at the last moment, he mentioned Hillary, and the
woman pastor reminded him that he was not there to “campaign”.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Just checking to see if lysie is resting…..

Good afternoon everyone. Lovely, perfectly lovely day

  10. Molly Pitcher says:

Good morning everyone. Ok, it’s Thursday already…..E-Day is getting closer and closer FAST.

    • The Raven says:

E-Day is closer, and Trump benefited from H’s bad week. He’s up 6 now – getting close to 50% as well

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Yes, exactly…..pretty amazing. Plus, he has managed to stay disciplined for weeks now, don’t you think? I can’t remember any real lapses….

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Apparently the twitter world “blew up” yesterday over Colin Powell’s email comments…

    • The Raven says:

His child care sell-out is a lapse for a Constitutionalist like me. But, I often wondered what the USA would be like if the Democrats had competition in buying votes.

    • edinva says:

Rav, you are obviously missing the racist/xenophobic aspect of the childcare package. It is (apparently) geared toward getting more middle class (read: white) couples to reproduce in order to keep the national demographic with a white majority. As it is, reproduction among whites is extremely low while among “others” it’s extremely high, leading ultimately to a white minority in the USA.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Yeah….I agree on the child care thing, but there is still more to learn I think….the populist conservatives vs. the constitutionalist conservatives…I saw a column about this particular issue along these lines this a.m. New entitlements are not something I can easily warm up to, but
The bottom line is: Hillary must be stopped…the rest will be sorted out later.

    • lysie says:

      Good morning . Looks good.

  11. lysie says:

Got home a few hours ago. Very tired.

  12. Molly Pitcher says:

    Good morning everyone…

  13. The Raven says:

Morning quotes (hat tip WSJ’s Taranto column)

She won’t drink water, and you try telling Hillary Clinton she has to drink water,
    – Clinton aide after the 9/11 incident

I drink tons of water. Just as much water as I can possibly drink.
    – Hillary in 2008 Katie Couric interview

    Pigeon power
    – Yankee’s outfielder Aaron Judge when asked what was fueling their resurgence.

  14. Prairie says:

Hello Lysie, great to see you posting! Hi Molly and everyone, thanks for the links.

You gotta love how Chaffetz was having NONE of the FBI stooge’s obfuscation and dodging. Hope he’ll have the cojones to enforce the subpeona.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Parasite named after 0bama Really, really true? A compliment? Dang

    • The Raven says:

Funny this commercial came out when it did

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Poor Hillary…..if only she’d have known about the vaccine…

    • edinva says:

How could the Smartest Woman in the World, who sought to control the entire national health care system, and who is worth $250M, not have gotten the pneumonia vaccine for herself? And, how could the champion of gay rights have gone to a LBGT, etc. fundraiser knowing she was carrying the contagious bacteria? How many immune system compromised people were at that fundraiser? Further, how did she go to her daughter’s home, with an infant and a toddler, and expose them? Not to mention the thousands who attended the 9/11 memorial? Guess a woman’s gotta tough it out.

I am hoping our own patient is having a good morning, lysie?

  15. Molly Pitcher says:

Rise and Shine, patients and all…Love the early a.m. musical touch Raven

  16. The Raven says:

    Morning quotes

” … it isn’t about the health, it’s about the stealth”
    – David Axelrod

    ” … If you’re a Clinton, you lie. It’s what you do”
    – Sean Davis, Federalist

  17. lysie says:

Good afternoon. All is well. Soon I will be walking

  18. Prairie says:

Prayers lifted for Lysie’s successful surgery, a speedy recovery and for God to guide the hands of those caring for her. Thanks for the info that the procedure is today, Molly. I knew it was this month, didn’t know the date. Very good observations about Hillary…..Let me add another one or two….

When someone is overheated, common sense says to take extra clothing off them, at minimum. Why wasn’t this done? Secondly, her press gaggle follows her around almost constantly, am I right? It’s reported that the campaign kept them away for a fairly lengthy period of time after this “episode”. Here’s the question…..did Hillary actually go to the doctor on Friday? Did she have an x-ray? If so, was the press purposely excluded or did Clinton sneak out the back door and transport to the doctor? Did the doctor make a house call in the dead of night?

  19. edinva says:

19 weeks is starting to sound better!

G’day all …. prayers up for you lysie!

    • Molly Pitcher says:

      Prayers Up for lysie

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Good morning everyone, as we remember lysie and her surgery today…the start of her road to recovery.

    • edinva says:

Cheers! My thoughts are with lysie, and I feel very strongly that this is going to be, ultimately, a very positive experience for her.

The whole Hillary situation is just mind-boggling. She was diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday but was able to make it to the fundraiser, and at least initially to the 9/11 memorial. Then collapses. Then, in no time, is up and sharing her germs on the sidewalks of NY. Oh, and apparently with her daughter/grandchildren and those poor SS agents. Why, one might ask, hasn’t our national healthcare guru had the pneumonia vaccine?

Think about this: the Friday fundraiser was with the “Human Rights” a/k/a LBGT, etc, group. Among that crowd had to be a significant number of immune system compromised attendees. Wonder how they felt yesterday hearing that she was circulating with them Friday night, probably coughing?

Hillary’s CA fundraisers for the coming week were postponed or cancelled. While I am sure the faithful will just send in their checks, imagine the total panic seizing the Hollywood/SF crowd. They, creators of fantasy, who cannot even imagine a President Trump. Wonder how many one-way tickets to Caracas (or Havana or Montreal or Paris) have been sold?

There are quite a few reasons I’d love to see Trump win in November. Not the least among them, to see how many of these loudmouth celebrities actually leave the US

    • Molly Pitcher says:

De Plorable Unum Couldn’t resist this very clever title….

    • Jemian says:

Prayers ascending for Lysie. Check in when you can.

Re: the female candidate. There is no reason to hide a diagnosis of pneumonia. Today she went from overheating to being fine to having pneumonia to cancelling events for the next two days. If the announcement is next “she has a cold”, I will be looking to send condolences to Chelsea. The Soviet prime ministers had colds, too.

    • tillacum says:

Thoughts and prayers for lysie this a.m. She will feel so much better when this is over.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

till….. Glad you enjoyed the Sully movie. I would like to see it too.

  20. Prairie says:

Hello my friends! So glad to be dropping by to check in, I’ve been absent but you are all in my thoughts frequently. My m-i-l celebrated her 90th b-day last week, we went out to her home and helped give a reception for her, then had our daughter as a guest for 5 days. So a whirlwind these past weeks.

Yes, I’m a proud Deplorable Basket member. At least I’m not a basket-case like Clinton is. Plus she’s evidently a physically ill woman. Pneumonia is not the full extent of it, not by a long shot. She could’ve avoided the whole thing, had a reasonable excuse to skip the memorial today, by disclosing her pneumonia/antibiotic status from Friday. But now, there’s the video and a field day at least for a while. Pride goes before a fall………..:)

    • Jemian says:

When people ask me how I am, my answer is “as least as well as Hillary.”

    • The Raven says:

But you are telling the truth, Jem.
When I was in high school, our math teacher gave us a puzzle. There was a island of two tribes where half the islanders told the truth and half always told a lie. You had to ask one yes/no question and determine which tribe they belonged to. With Hillary, if she says she’s fine or she has pneumonia, or she says she didn’t cheat with cattle futures, you have no idea if you have the liar and must gather the truth elsewhere.

    • The Raven says:

Prairie… are right…she is the basket case. I detest people who go around accusing people of being racists. Especially carte blanche. She is the basket of deplorables.
      Let them eat cake.

      Morning quote:

” … she thinks half of Mr. Trump’s voters are loathsome bigots and the other half are losers and dupes who deserve Democratic pity … [and] is what today’s elite progressives believe about America’s great unwashed.”
