    Democrats in the news:
We have seen what has happened in golf – people ran out on the course and stole the golf balls in play during the recent rain delay. As further evidence of Democrats such as Obama on the golf course, we have this

PS: How about if Republican ball players take a knee during the anthem to protest illegal voters

  2. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

    • The Raven says:

Well, it looks like Matthew will miss Florida. But Drudge has a “woe is me” headliner that it is stalled

    • Molly Pitcher says:

      Good morning..

hurricanes, earthquakes (s. CA), and Trump ( PA)…..all works of uncontrollable nature it seems.
His tax returns are now public, and he’s not too happy I think.

    • The Raven says:

His tax records were leaked by the IRS – unbelievable.

Do you think Pennsylvania is in play? Where’s BIT? Here’s a blurb from today’s WSJ:

Bill Clinton toured western Pennsylvania three weeks ago, President Obama told a Philadelphia crowd two weeks ago that Mr. Trump doesn’t “believe in democracy,” and Mrs. Clinton returned to Philly last week for her “I need you” overture to millennial voters. Joe Biden was back this week, Chelsea Clinton was at State College, and Michelle Obama was at Pitt.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

The trend for H! has been bad in PA.

      IRS leaking …misconduct …again….
What are all these clown attacks about??!

    • The Raven says:

The tax records? It was an October surprise. Dems have been singing that tune since I was born. Along with “tax the rich” “pay your fair share” etc. I swear they let those deductions in the tax code just for election time attacks on Republicans. And how is it that we get these IRS leaks every four years? And zero interest by the FBI or Justice.

A nice Trump response would be… …. ” .. my taxes are legal. The IRS leaking my tax returns is not. Hillary must have known about it and ordered them from the IRS – like room service. Since we know both the IRS and Hillary are crooked and lie – how will we ever know? Certainly not by asking them.

I love it that the neighborhood was all celebrating. When we won in Arizona in 2011, I left the house after the game, which made it around 11PM, and joined a parade of neighbors who were also heading to the same place. A great time was had by all celebrating together. I will never forget that night!

When we won the Kick Six Iron Bowl, hubby and I were screaming and jumping up and down, yelling so loudly, we did wake our neighbors who (erroneously) thought they’d sleep in on a Sunday morning.

Close endings are nice for TV watching. But overall, I prefer a decisive win, perhaps with a score of 58-7.

    • The Raven says:

      Hah! Yep…Auburn had fun yesterday!!…..

    • tillacum says:

      Good Morning All.
Rave, that was some Hail Mary Win. WOW!!! TN is 5-0, the Aggies are 5-0 right now.
We’ll be with TN friends and a fierce TN football fan next Saturday. It will be fun.

    • The Raven says:

We’ve been playing a few weeks now without three of our defensive stars (both linebackers and a corner), till. Hopefully they will heal quickly. But we are definately concerned about Texas A&M. They are good this year, that’s for sure.

One part of yesterday’s game that got lost in the excitement was that the Vols running back Hurd caught a sure touchdown pass in the first half. But he nonchalantly pranced to the goal loosely holding the football as if he was playing in the backyard. The GA player ran up and knocked the ball out of his hand and if was ruled a fumble. The coach benched Hurd the second half although he was officially out with a “lower extremity” injury (the coach kicked him in the shins). I’d be surprised if that injury lasts more than the end of the game. But Hurd may be out as wellif it truly was an injury.

Worse for me is, once again, CBS will broadcast the game (Verne Lundquist & Gary Danielson) . They don’t like the Vols and I don’t like them.

    • The Raven says:

I see Drudge has two comebacks for Trump v. NYTimes – One is the NYTimes itself didn’t pay taxes in 2014. Another is the Times’ chief financial backing is from a Mexican billionaire.
So the NY Times didn’t pay taxes. They didn’t chip in to help pay for the social wrongs they want corrected. Not a penny. No money from the Times went to welfare, or food stamps, or abortions, or energy research. Nope – nothing.

How about this (I’d love to work for a campaign some day)?

The NY Times and Mrs Clinton are really, really dumb. They think you pay taxes when you lose money. Maybe that’s why they don’t want anybody to have a job.

    • The Raven says:

But what if someone falls off a ship during a Princeton cruise? “Man overboard!” wouldn’t do. Instead, a quick poll among people on deck could settle whether most observers thought the unlucky person was male or female. In cases of a tie, be fair and just leave the person in the water. Couldn’t everyone just yell, “Person overboard”? No. A generic shout like that could be taken as a subtle rejection of the falling person’s private gender choice. “Possible female or male overboard” wouldn’t work either, since everyone knows that there are somewhere between two and 32 genders, and failing to acknowledge them all before attempting a rescue would surely be seen as non-inclusive and therefore micro-aggressive. So, what to do? Committing a gender gaffe would be just awful. So it might be best to let the individual drown and get the gender right later at the autopsy. The Princeton administration would know.

  3. The Raven says:

TN Vols started out the same…down 17-3 at half. Argh …UNC is beating FSU…!! WI and MI are tied

  4. Prairie says:

Happy Saturday everybody. We spent the morning in town, home now, and the best thing this weekend ( in addition to church) is that we are invited out for dinner both nights. No cooking!

Are folks planning to watch the VP debate on…..Tuesday, I think it is??

  5. Molly Pitcher says:

Confused only read if you are a baseball nut…..

Great football day. Today my Vols have another tough opponent – we play the Bulldogs at 3:30. also today No. 4 Michigan faces test versus No.8 Wisconsin also at 3:30. Clemson via Louisville tonight at 8

      Hope your team wins, Rav.

    • tillacum says:

Looks interesting lysie. How’re you doing?
I’m wondering what’s going on in the rest of the world. All the news is about Hillary
accusing the Donald of abusing women.

    • lysie says:

Good morning, till. I’m well other than an occasional tiredness feeling.Thanks.

    • The Raven says:

Man, oh, man, oh, man was that chicken good!!!… Everybody needs to try Sous Vida

    • lysie says:

Great! How did you find out about this type of cooking?

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Weeelllll…the NYT reports , sadly no doubt, that Hillary! is giving up on Ohio.

      It’s just so…..unexpected.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Raven Is it EASY? That’s the main thing for me….

    • Molly Pitcher says:

The photos at that site are mouth watering, for sure. Did you buy the equipment ?

    • The Raven says:

Lysie…I have a vacuum sealer (Food Saver) that died and I was checking prices on a new one when I saw it was good for sous vide cooking and I said to myself “What in the world is sous vide cooking”? So I proceeded to research it and it is an undiscovered gem. Well, actually it seems to be all the rage, the cooking channels are now promoting it.

But it is super simple, Molly. You have to buy a gadget which looks like an aquarium heater (same principal, actually) and put it in a pot full of water or a beer cooler full of water….. and then you cook your food (steaks, chicken, carrots, eggs, whatever) in the low temperature water bath by putting the food in zip lock bags or vacuum bags. You can’t overcook.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Thank you! Sounds like something for Santa to bring me…

Well, now I hear that Hillary! is coming to town next week…ugh

    • Molly Pitcher says:

I will ask my friends at church and exercise class if they have heard of it/use the method….totally new to me
