So much crazy news out there, I thought I’d post something different.

Good morning everyone.
Thanks so much lysie…delicious! Good morning to you, everyone…Raven, are you with the grandkids today, too?
Boneless pork roast was on sale last week for $1.49 lb sooooo….Greg made breakfast patties. We are having some this morning. He froze the rest for later.
He made some before. They are yummy.
Oh very good….what kind of seasoning does he use? That is a very good price…last week, we had a beef sale at one of the stores, so looking ahead I got a couple of steaks to break out the grill…in April?? I hope….
No grandkids today. Grandma was sidelined with a painful sciatic leg so it was a Grandpa weekend. They lived in the pool Friday (I was worn out). Yesterday, I let both of them drive the golf cart we have (mandatory in Florida). The neighbors were all cheering when we went by almost mowing them down. Later, I printed a “driver’s license” I created using the ‘puter !! Put their picture on it and told them they can vote in California. Hah! Last? Thank’s to Apple for iPads so I could rest while they played games
Long travel day ahead, but it will end eventually.
Take care, Molly.
Raven I hope she feels better soon! Great story about the golf cart…funny!
EDINVA…I didn’t go to the local townhall meeting….but sure enough – loads of brainwashed snowflakes showed up and I heard Rep Buchanan handled it OK (link). `I think R’s should have a national school for correctly answering these loaded questions the libs throw out. The libs have an organized group to prepare the questions!. Maybe Donna Brazil is available.
They had their pat questions to the guy …..like poor people are not going to have health care under the Republicans.
We need answers like Dinesh D’Souza gives here – can’t we teach it?
As tempting as it is to use the judicial power to balance those competing interests as we see fit, we cannot let our personal inclinations get ahead of important, overarching principles about who gets to make decisions in our democracy. For better or worse, every four years we hold a contested presidential election. We have all found ourselves disappointed with the election results in one election cycle or another. But it is the best of American traditions that we also understand and respect the consequences of our elections. Even when we disagree with the judgment of the political branches—and perhaps especially when we disagree—we have to trust that the wisdom of the nation as a whole will prevail in the end.

Oh my. Worse than we thought.
That makes me cry and angry that the fools see nothing wrong with Socialism. It’s not so much that they are for something …just against everything that is decent and right.

G’day, All, I’m with Continetti. Order me a steak well done with catsup. LOTS of catsup. The sanctimonious snobbiness makes me crazy with these people, these kids/journalists who really think they are entitled to tell the world how to live and how to eat. Grrrrrr. Thanks to them and their groupthink, it was easy, as Gruber said, to sell Obamacare. Idiots, one and all.
Lysis, has your snow disappeared? We have a little, tiny mound here and there. Temps are warming (now @ 49) so what’s left will be gone by end of weekend – aided and abetted by showers. I’m good and ready for Spring to arrive on Monday, tho it has not been a bad winter at all … past week or two notwithstanding. Why is it that bitter cold and lots of snow are so much more tolerable in March than in December?
Rav, it’d be nice to think that Rs would show up at these Town Hall meetings and shout down the intruders. Maybe they should invite some bikers, they always scare off the little snowflakes. It seems our local Dem Congesscritter holds online meetings. The area is so blue he’ll never have competition – after all, they kept electing Jim Moran for years after he was a(nother person’s) child and wife abuser.
Hello, ed. We still have about 18 inches, but it is melting fast. We will have above freezing daytime temperatures until Wednesday. That will help melt.
Afternoon everyone…those “disrupters”….do they even live in the districts??
Molly, not likely they’re locals, but Soros is likely paying their fare to get there.
Jem, thanks for letting us know. We’ll be waiting for your trip report.
Cluck, cluck…..I like the red sweater!
Hi, Molly. Me, too.
Yesterday I looked out a window and down the hill, across the neighbor’s yard, saw in a large fir tree, a single spot of red….a cardinal. It was lovely to see!
We have flocks of robins. Poor things had a hard time searching for food after the s-storm. They are tough little birdies, though.
We have a planned town hall meeting by an R down here today in Sarasota- naturally, the malcontents are planning a massive demonstration and takeover.
Malcontents??? You are too kind, Rav. 😉
Are you going?
I loved the chicken sweaters. I wonder if they would fit my duck. He’s a gem. Hates the turtles in HIS stock tank. Sometimes he flies out to the lake to chat with the wild ducks that drop by from time to time. Gets very possessive when the deer hop the fence and feed on HIS grass. He’s funny. Greets us when we come home, day of evening. He has a loud quack.
We have a good VA in Waco, hubby uses their services and is treated very well. When he has an apmt I attend. I was quite surprised the first time I saw a picture of the previous president in one of the nurses’ office, during his tenure in our Whitehouse. I’ll have to check if the picture is still there when I attend the next meeting.
Good morning, till.
That’s funny about your duck.
I cringe every time I go to our local Legion. There’s is a picture of O right above the kitchen serving area window. It’s almost enough to not want to buy things to eat.
The majority of the people at the Legion are NOT O fans.
We have the grandkids today
