  1. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

    • The Raven says:

Good morning Lysie. Great choice today!!! It’s all in presentation.

I’ve been reading more on Trump getting new advisors and dumping Bannon, Priebus, et al. A little known fact is the people Bannon is fighting with are Jarrad Kushner and his economic advisor Cohn – both New York Democrats. So, if Bannon loses the fight, we are in for a carbon tax, a vat tax, and other such things that Trump never promised in the campaign. I suppose those taxes are to bring in a handful of Dems to get the 60 votes in the Senate. The libs are going to use the threat of government shutdown as a weapon again. This time from the minority, Not sure how the Pubs get blamed either way.

      Morning Quote:

Just about the time the fever on the nut left seems to be subsiding there’s another outbreak of Trump Derangement Syndrome. Normal-looking folk who sound like they escaped a Marx Bros. movie fall into a relapse.

    • lysie says:

Good morning, Rav. Very disappointing if Trump does that. Very!

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Good morning …lovely breakfast. Thank you lysie!

    • lysie says:

Good morning, Molly. You are welcome. It will be a sunny day with temps in the high 60s. Yippee!!

    • The Raven says:

      Morning Quote II

By the end of Trump’s first term, three [justices] will have crossed [the] line [of average age a justice leaves], Anthony Kennedy, who will be 83, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who will be 86, and Stephen Breyer, who will be 81. The next oldest is Clarence Thomas, who will be 71. … If Trump manages to stay in office a full eight years, he could leave the court with a conservative 7-2 majority.

  2. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

    • Jemian says:

Listen, Lysie, why don’t you just ship me that breakfast and every subsequent breakfast. /jk You post it about our suppertime, and I have just lost interest in cooking and washing up afterward.

    • lysie says:

Hello, Jem. I’m happy you have a few days off. Enjoy them.

    • The Raven says:

Did you see Trump wants to get a new Chief of Staff? Taking no chances for the tax changes.

” … possibilities for chief of staff include House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, a California Republican; Wayne Berman of Blackstone Group; and National Economic Council head Gary Cohn”.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

ok, now that we’ve had that last bit of snow behind us, let’s get on with Spring!
Good morning lysie, Jemian, Raven, everyone.

Yes, I read there was a big battle between Kushner and Bannon, too. Who knows?

    • The Raven says:

Here’s a case in a Florida local election where it was contested and the fraudulant votes exceeded the margin of victory

    • lysie says:

      But….but…Trump and Russia.

Rav, some of the comments after the articles are spot on.

    • tillacum says:

Good Morning Everyone. Jem, enjoy your spring break.
I knew McCain received money from Soros, had a suspicion Graham did, but Rubio? Why would a governor need Soros money, Kaisich? There are 2 more and I can’t recall. Haven’t had my coffee yet.
Sounds like there’s some, I’m in charge, going on among members of the Whitehouse staff. chuckle.

  3. Jemian says:

Hillary Clinton says she won’t run for public office again.

And that’s a good thing. I wonder when those 3 RATS are standing for re-election. Could that have something to do with their votes?

As for me, we’re on a week break right now. Yay! We don’t go back until the 18th.

Surely, April, that giraffe, will have had her baby by then. Still watching.
