Chick-fil-A Makes Us Feel Unsafe.

“Chick-fil-A has a questionable history on civil rights and human rights,” student senator Niko Martini told campus newspaper The Duke. “I think it’s imperative the university chooses to do business with organizations that coincide with the [university’s] mission and expectations they give students regarding diversity and inclusion.”

Good afternoon everyone. We went to the camp early this morning.

Easter Blessings to All…..I am trying to post an appropriate image, but can’t seem to make it work…I need remedial training in that dept.

    • The Raven says:

A common mistake I make is to use the google images pictures ….. you need to click on the image and use the actual website image url

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Your problem…I figured that out…it’s the downsizing and getting the html code or whatever it is…right. but finally some success. I should post something every day…that would certainly help…

    • edinva says:

Blessed Easter, one and all! We’re off to church now, later dinner with dear sons. We chucked the traditional ham & things, and are going to go out, Italian, instead! DD and family are in NJ where sil’s French grandmother is visiting, her annual, and first solo. Good for her to travel like that at 84.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

That is very good for that Grandma! Enjoy your day, ED…Italian…hmmm. Sounds good!

    • edinva says:

Hope your holiday was enjoyable Molly and all. Ours exceeded expectations. I really enjoy that the sons push for far more casual fare than we’ve had in the past. Sort of blows tradition to heck and back, but a LOT less work.

So Turkey is now officially a voter-approved dictatorship? Still don’t get news on Marine LaPen in France?

Domestically, I’m still chuckling at the media’s meltdown over Trump’s golden Easter eggs, unaware that the golden eggs were intro’d by their man Barrack. They should ban adults at that event. Leave it to kids and maybe one parent.

Feeling sorry that DD is sick today, but happy for the opportunity to spend a few hours with Miss Z. Nice little offset for MomMom.

  3. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Thanks lysie, and Easter Blessings to you and your family!

We have eaten at C F-A several times on our recent travels, and always were thrilled with their customer service and the product. Here at home, we don’t usually do fast food, but soon…yes, Peach Milkshake season is around the corner. Do you ever go to C F-A?

    • Jemian says:

I read that article. Several thoughts occurred to me: 1.) what history? They have always been fair, courteous, and out-of-the-way helpful; 2.) Stop whinning, snowflake!; and 3.) THEN DON’T SHOP THERE AND IF OTHERS FEEL LIKE YOU, THEY WILL GO OUT OF BUSINESS AT YOUR LOCATION.

Sheesh! No one is forcing you to eat their products. But I LOVE Chik-Fil-A.

    • Jemian says:

      BTW, still no baby giraffe.

FWIW, have you ever heard “The Church’s One Foundation,” arranged in a “It’s A Small World” style? Well, I have.

      It’s Saturday. We are waiting.

    • Jemian says:

Finally! Two little hooves are visible now. It’s not the waiting to which I was referring. But new birth is always good.

    • The Raven says:

Snowflakes make me feel unsafe. Can’t we have trigger warnings here on ATRW?

BTW – Here’s a surprise….of the fifty states….the top ten most popular governors are R’s…and three are from solid blue states….MD, MA, and VT. ( LINK )

    • Jemian says:

And the baby is out! Yay! I’m off to bed now.

    • Jemian says:

Sunday is here. No more waiting. The stone is rolled away. The napkin is folded and Christ is risen. Victory over sin and death. What a relief!
