America the Right Way -Staying Vigilant- May 1, 2017 – May 5, 2017 Remember 9/11

Hello!

So….the emcee at Saturday night’s WHCD criticized Pres. Trump for not attending. And if he had? Would he have received a warm, gracious welcome? Of course not! The media has signaled its contempt for months.

A fair analysis of the situation from one of these media types would acknowledge this. But I’m not holding my breath for it to come.

    Good morning everyone.

      Thank you and good morning!

I’m wondering if the state’s rights in the Heath Care Bill is a model for future bills. Let the liberal states like Calif. have their socialism and Texas their Constitutional conservatism. If someone get’s sick in Tennessee and then moves to Illinois to get free health care – it isn’t too far removed from illegal immigration so they should embrace that. We even have a precedent for doing it. It’s called the Tenth Amendment

  3. The Raven says:

What do you think gang…..should we join the resistance and see what they are up to? Here’s the link for their guide book !!!

    Morning Quote:

It’s an itsy bitsy little step in the right direction, and it hasn’t even gotten to the Senate yet.
Is that what they campaigned on? An itsy bitsy little step?

I remember reading, I think, some years ago, about the rioting in Seattle, and the damage the rioters did to downtown businesses. It was mentioned, then, that the man behind the riots was a man named George Soros. He had imported paid rioter from overseas because they were not afraid to do a lot of damage. Then during Pres. Bush’s attending a meeting in France, this same bunch of rioters showed up and did damage there too. I’m sure a lot of the rioters with covered faces are paid to lead the rioting troops to do their deeds. These rioters have grown stronger and larger during the last administration, along with another group called Black Lives Matter. I’ve also noted an
increase in disrupting in some of the airlines.

They must have a corrupt police force that lets them break the law.

      Good morning Lysie

      Quote:

There is a presumption…that heartlessness and bigotry are somehow endemic to conservatism, that the rigors of freedom and capitalism literally require exploitation and inequality—this despite the fact that so many liberal policies since the 1960s have only worsened the inequalities they sought to overcome

    • Molly Pitcher says:

      Hello!
Oh wow, I see Missouri is getting hit with more rain.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Excellent from Shelby Steele. Why are conservatives always on the defensive??

  8. Molly Pitcher says:

Help!!….coming from the current DOJ, it might actually do some good.

  9. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Oh that is just what I need! Good morning!

    • The Raven says:

Good Morning Lysie, Molly. I just read Hanson’s piece. He’s got their number, doesn’t he? I always thought they lied to cover up their failures, and thus they are constantly untruthful. Just like they can’t debate their policies without name calling, violence, etc.

    • lysie says:

      Good morning, Rav and Molly.

Yes. Progressives don’t want to speak the truth. They think it’s beneath them.

  10. The Raven says:

Yep…Molly…Hannity rumors persist. Don’t know if this is true ( considering the source ) … but Hannity was definitely upset (when Shine was outed) – and is said to be leaving FOX by the end of the week

On another note….Portland libs went crazy on May Day. See all those smiling faces? I wonder what happens to these people who are arrested in these lib cities. Does anyone ever check? Are they slapped on the wrist and let go?

    • Molly Pitcher says:

      Oh my, what news…
The Portland news is so distressing..there are a lot of enablers out there…to answer your question one way.

  12. lysie says:

Good morning everyone. Thanks for the start, Molly. Major storm headed our way. If our internet goes off, you’ll know why.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Yes, we were to the s. of that storm as it rolled thru…or was it to the n…..anyway we missed it. good luck!

    • lysie says:

I woke up in the middle of the night. The TV was still on in our bedroom. I saw a cartoon- type commercial about pain. It wasn’t closed caption, but words were written in the commercial. I couldn’t believe what I saw. Eligibility was typed as elegibilty. I saw the commercial again and same thing. I was right the first time. Are there no proof-readers? Sheesh!

    • The Raven says:

Edinva and Till…..I used to be a skinny smoker and 11 years ago I quit the habit and haven’t touched one since. But I did gather up weight (almost instantly) which I always thought was temporary (nicotine removal increases the desire for sweets and reduces metabolism burn off of calories) – but alas, it wasn’t. I have tried Atkins and lost quite a bit of weight but, for me, the diet was difficult to sustain. I complained about this to my doctor and he suggested the more sustainable Whole 30. I tried it for the recommended 30 days and indeed lost the pounds and yes, there are whole foods with carbs like fruit and potatoes allowed which make it more sustainable. We were off to Florida with significant increases in eating out and I thus, didn’t continue with Whole 30 program. And, after the trial and I gained back the lost weight. So, both programs worked for me and I didn’t sustain either one. But Whole 30 has no carb counting and no calorie counting and is easier to follow. So I’m going to try again. Now I’m on a self modified Whole 30 (Whole 30 calls for zero sugar, grain, and dairy – I am going with almost zero) and don’t seem to be losing as much as a strict program. Looks like something in my modified is not working and I’m going to back off some of my exceptions and see what happens. But if you are looking for a good diet, both Atkins and Whole 30 worked for me but Whole 30 was easier. Both diets severely restrict your choices when eating in a restaurant, but Whole 30 allows for an occasional Thanksgiving dinner or desert if followed by a week of strict adherence (not like I was doing) – to compensate.

Russians are coming!! Emergency! Everybody to get from street!
Today is May 1, the Day of the Misfits, Malcontents & Marxists

    • The Raven says:

I read the Wall St Journal daily and a few months ago, one of their OpEd piece contributes was the never-Trumper, Bret Stevens. He wrote a horrible column about Trump and in the comment section I wrote that this was the last time I would be reading his column. I got a gazillion “likes” for that comment and amazingly in the future, he was not producing a lot of work. Turns out he was off to the New York Times. They must have been thrilled to add a neverTrumper. But he committed journalistic suicide there as well ( LINK ).

On another note….Comey testifies later this week.

And still another…..Henry Kissinger inks a tribute to Adenauer in today’s WSJ

    • Molly Pitcher says:

      Very disappointed in Stephens..
Your submarine dive alarm sound made me laugh Raven. A memory…once long when we we traveling with our sons, we spent a long night in a motel room, where the toilet made that sound every time… we had watched enough WWII movies to make the association, and we all laughed for the first few times…then when we were trying to sleep, and someone got up….not so funny.

    • The Raven says:

Rush ripped the R’s a new one today.

    • lysie says:

Somehow, I knew he would….rightfully so.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

      The Rs deserve it.

So..more changes at Fox?? A VP has left….or pushed out, and the Hannity rumors are ramping up.

  13. edinva says:

G’day, Molly: They can’t get over losing, much less losing so badly. He continues to goad them, and they fall for it every single time. It’s just great fun to watch. So while they preened, whined, wailed and kvetched in the grand ballroom of a Washington DC hotel (is it still at the Hilton where Reagan was shot?), President Trump was out with HIS people in Harrisburg, PA, breaking another attendance record. Who couldn’t love it ???

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Good morning ED Yes…he seems to be in their collective heads.

    • tillacum says:

Wasn’t he wonderful. He was having the time of his life, with normal people, like himself.
We had to decline a shrimp boil at the club, because I HAD to watch the rally. The media
is still angry because he had a rally rather than sit and listen to them insult him. Did you notice he mentioned “I may attend next year”?
