  1. The Raven says:

So…who do you think was the brains behind the organized Democrat/media concocted Trump scandal and takedown (fake news, fake leaks, Russian innuendos ) ?
    a) Ben Rhodes/Obama
    b) George Soros/Schumer
    c) NY Times/MediaMatters

  2. The Raven says:

There are some people you can tell who they voted for just by looking at them
    ..

Part of the downside for libs telling fibs. The Great Scam of ’17

  3. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

    • The Raven says:

      Morning Quote:

I think it is important to put to rest the notion that there was anything criminal about the president exercising his constitutional power to fire Comey and to request – “hope” – that he let go the investigation of General Flynn. Just as the president would have had the constitutional power to pardon Flynn and thus end the criminal investigation of him, he certainly had the authority to request the director of the FBI to end his investigation of Flynn.

      – Alan Dershowitz

    • The Raven says:

Comey claims he leaked to get a special counsel —to me that doesn’t sound real. I bet he leaked for revenge and after the special counsel was announced….he used that as a convenience.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Friday! ….already…Good morning everyone, and thank you lysie for breakfast…back to camp, yes?

    • lysie says:

Too much going on this weekend to go to camp. We are working at another American Legion chicken bbq tomorrow.

I haven’t been posting much because we are so darn busy. Gardening…and getting rid unnecessary stuff.

    • The Raven says:

      Also:

Convert, pay, or die is the set of choices Islam offers infidels. Coincidentally, this is also what today’s progressives and the Democratic Party offer nonbelievers

      – William L. Gensert from Convert, Pay, or Die

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Yep….That quote states the “classic” attitude of Islam toward the unbelievers…..a centuries-old belief system and attitude.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Ha! Now I see the rest of the quote….very good

    • The Raven says:

      News:
Andraya Yearwood from Cromwell High School in Cromwell, Connecticut, won the girls’ 100-meter and 200-meter dashes at the Connecticut high school Class M state championships. … To make matters worse, she is a freshman, so she beat girls who are as many as three years older than her. Had she competed with the boys, she would have taken last place.
      PJ Media

  4. The Raven says:

Breaking: Trey Gowdy to head Oversight

Also…Comey had just told Grassey’s committee under oath that he was not the source of leaks and today he said he was. Now he’s in trouble.

  5. Molly Pitcher says:

The Conservatives may be losing their majority in Parliament…not looking good

  6. The Raven says:

    Here’s the meat and potatoes… Marco Rubio’s Q&A

    • Molly Pitcher says:

That’s a good route that Rubio took with his questioning. My guess is that Comey decided his reputation needed saving after the Hillary/Meeting on the Tarmac/election fiasco and Comey thought the meeting with Trump might be the way to do that after the firing….that’s why he didn’t do anything right away after the meeting…it was only after the firing, that he started the leaking about the meeting.

    • The Raven says:

Well, we now know the NYT Times story of Trump Team members talking with Russians on many occasions was wrong. We know the entire Russian collusion was wrong. We know the election wasn’t hacked. We know the Democrats switched from collusion to obstruction (insanely obstruction of the fake collusion – like Scooter Libby crimes).

What we don’t know is if the entire Dem slander and coup attempt was organized based on nothing.

  7. mustknowhistory says:

How can there be an obstruction of justice if there has yet to be any evidence of a crime? What are they obstructing?

At a car repair place and just heard Dama Perino saying that the Republican to do list is moving quickly through congress as they democrats spin their shells on this other stuff. I sure hope this is true.

  8. Molly Pitcher says:

Good morning everyone…..and ED…No, I did not know that about VA’s primary next week…now I will try to follow it…as for Comey…I will be reading the coverage…no tv for me.

    • The Raven says:

Yep….I don’t know what to do with the Comey hearings. The US media is all Democrats and they have the ending all written. It is barf inducing what happened to our country, Are the Republicans going to counter this ??

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Well, it’s early, and I’m easily confused, but now it seems like there are multiple, contradictory reports of Comey’s testimony-to-come….Ay-yi-yi….lately I’ve been thinking of that old show Fantasy Island…

    • lysie says:

      Good morning everyone.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Good morning lysie….the weather is improving

    • The Raven says:

Fantasy Island ? Hah! True, true. I’m thinking Al Capone’s vault. But. Maybe we can ask the Democrats if they are illegally “putting pressure” on Trump to keep the Dems’ Obamacare, judges, foreign policy, etc.

    • The Raven says:

Andrew Bolt was attacked by libs and he punched back

    • Molly Pitcher says:

accosted with glue and glitter! Sounds like 2 crafters gone whacko…well, I guess it could have been worse…much worse.

    • The Raven says:

Why can’t they do that to libs? I swear, no one (maybe excepting Mark Levin) is attacking the libs on the fake Russia/Comey story. They need to be taken down on this. Maybe they should put me in there. Yes !!

“OK…we now turn the questioning to The Raven.

The Raven: Hey Comey, maybe after years of a non-President. A Community Organizer. Of you overlooking a text book example of obstruction not once but many times with those you know by first name. Bill, Hillary & Loretta. Of you getting caught up in the liberal’s organized coup attempt. After all this…you think it is a story because Trump acts like a real President. He wasn’t trying to obstruct Justice. He was telling you to stop acting like an idiot. To fight the damn liberals, some of which sit to my left, and tell them you will arrest them en mass. And deport them to their country of origin. But no. Since you are a member of the Democrat Party, you won’t do that. Instead you whine. Isn’t that right, Mr. Comey?

    • The Raven says:

Not sure how this happened….but over on the right under “Recent Comments” I’m listed on one of them as “anonymous”
Maybe I can leak bull to the Times, now.

  9. Molly Pitcher says:

Its why you watch. Scooter Gannett’s day in baseball history yesterday

    • lysie says:

      Wonderful article, Molly.

I watch to see great plays whether my team wins or loses…I enjoy great fielding and hitting.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Yes, exactly…..I love the details of the execution…the batters patience In the box, the fielder’s good route to the ball…those kind of things show respect for the beautiful game of baseball

  10. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Thank you~~ Just in time, too….good morning. the new gas line construction going on in the neighborhood is getting closer and closer…yesterday, more of those little flags appeared in lawns just one block East.
In other local news, it seems 0Care is collapsing in Ohio, as Anthem is set to pull out next year. What a mess the Dems created, and purposefully, IMO, too…how harmful, deliberately, to all kinds of people.

    • edinva says:

Morning, everyone… well actually it IS morning, like 1am Thursday my time. Just can’t sleep, so excited about Comey’s testimony. Well, maybe not. Did you ever see such a P.T. Barnum exercise in “journalism?” I don’t have cable thank God but saw 2 posts showing CNN and Fox have countdown clocks till the Comey hearing begins? Seriously? They want so badly for a big time scandal .. especially if, in their fantasies, it were to bring down President Trump. Good luck, fellas!

Did you all know there will be a primary election in VA next week for statewide offices? NJ, the only other state that has statewide elections in the year following a presidential election and is looked to as a “bell-weather” for how well the POTUS is doing, had its primary yesterday. A top aide to Christie won the R nomination and a Trump-hating Goldman Sachs exec got the D nod. Yippee for him. There’s a 3 way race in VA for the R gubernatorial nomination with Ed Gillespie, former RNC Chair and 2012 Senate candidate (who ran a horrible campaign), Corey Stewart, a suburban county govt chairman who HAD been Trump’s man in VA till he tried to pull a march/boycott vs the RNC and was dumped by the campaign for ‘going rogue,’ and Frank Wagner, a state senator, USNA grad, business exec. Conventional wisdom is that it’s Gillespie’s. Stewart would have been my choice until he went way too far off the rails. So I am looking at Wagner. Have to decide by Saturday because I’m working as an election official at a polling place other than my home base and have to vote absentee-in-person. Do other states have that “absentee-in-person” thing? We have regular absentee, where you mail in for a ballot, it’s mailed to you to fill in and return (for folks out of town or out of country) and this other is for people who just won’t be in town that day. You have to go to one of various assigned locations to vote in person vs. mailing your ballot in.

Any thoughts about Christopher Wray, Trump’s pick for F.B.I.? He looks good…. I mean, his background and credential seem ideal, but he also LOOKS like an F.B.I. Director out of Hollywood casting. Christie, who he represented in that “Bridgegate” matter praises him as does one of the folks at the left-leaning Brookings Institution who worked with him on Enron. I imagine he’ll be confirmed and hopefully clean up the F.B.I. Shame that one of the last credible institutions was so politicized and pretty close to totally ruined by BHO.

Have a great day .. I’m sure everyone will be glued to their TV. Can’t possibly be as much fun as the then-much heralded Ollie North testimony.

  11. The Raven says:

What would be really cool is if Russian hacks found the Obama administration was illegally registering aliens to vote and told Trump about it. !!!!! Hah !

  12. lysie says:

God bless our military..past and present.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Amen. Terrible times those were. The past years my husband and I have listened to various histories of the period during our car trips. Such brutal loss of life..the fateful decisions & costly mistakes of judgment made in so many theaters of the conflict.

    • The Raven says:

Oh my. Usually I remember D-Day… I forgot this year. Thanks for that reminder, Lysie

    • lysie says:

Yes, Molly. Yet, that was back in the day when the Americans, British and Canadians were in agreement to concurring evil.

      You are welcome, Rav.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Oh yes. And earlier book we listened to was about the Death Zone that was Russia in the 30s . The Stalinist regime annihilating its own citizens….I could only listen to half of it , it was so nightmarishly detailed.

  13. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

  14. The Raven says:

When I think of Trump tax reform – I don’t get that warm fuzzy feeling like Reagan’s policies. Reagan knew what was what and explained over and over what was going to happen and why. And he had a friend in the Fed.

And now we get these photos of McConnell and Ryan with that deer in the headlights look. And the liberals all jumping up and down at the same time.

    • tillacum says:

Good Morning everyone. Thanks for breakfast lysie. Sorry about the wind, rain and cool weather.

I read Rush’s article, from his program how not only the democrats are against Trump’s tax reform, immigrant ban, and anything else he proposes, but McConnell and other republicans are with the democrats. We voted these people to represent us in the Republican party, but they are tagging along with the democrats trying to ruin the man WE voted for.

  15. The Raven says:

    Morning quote:

… the effort to explain ordinary Americans to progressive elites reads like a Margaret Mead entry on the exotic habits of the Samoans.

    – WSJ’s William McGurn on the recent rash of lib commentary explaining the result of their contempt for voters.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

      HA! That’s funny…exotic Samoan reporting in, here….

    • The Raven says:

Yes. Unless they vote Democrat, the Dem haters exclude racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic and mysogynist voters. Plus they exclude pro-lifers, freedom lovers, constitutional conservatives, and good ol’, law-abiding, Main St mom and pop, baseball & apple pie loving, car buying, average voters.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

      And barbecue lovers

  16. lysie says:

Good morning everyone. Thanks for this week’s start, Molly.

Even though it rained and was very windy the past few days while we were at the camp we had an enjoyable time.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Being on the water is very restful…glad you had a good time….and wind….that is NOT restful…Thanks for the breakfast!

    • Molly Pitcher says:

I haven’t read completely the second link I posted above, but in another piece I read a couple of days ago, I came across this phrase: the Left has perfected the use of weaponized empathy. I like that

  17. The Raven says:

    Morning all !!

Feckless politicians have let things get to the point where all the remaining options are bad. By allowing the margin of superiority to slip, they are making the descent from the Marquess of Queenbury Rules to street fighting inevitable.”

    – RICHARD FERNANDEZ: Tolerance Loses Out In An Ineffective War on Terror. – PJ Media on Islam terror

    …also…

Last night, NBC Nightly News reminded the American people – during an attack against our strongest ally – that Donald Trump is the real enemy. Trump tweeted about the jihadi attack in London, highlighting “fears of a new terror attack” before NBC could “independently confirm.” Note, the president didn’t say it WAS a terror attack – he said there were “fears of a new terror attack.” Instead of just not using Trump’s tweet in their coverage, they went out of their way to attack the president, saying, “Pres. Trump has used Twitter to share news report on London incident. We aren’t relaying president’s retweet, as the info is unconfirmed.”

    – from Rob Eno, WTF MSM!? It’s not terrorism if Trump says so?

OK…is it finally time to have warning messages from media outlets? WARNING – the following is from the Democrat controlled [insert media here – NBC, New York Times, LA Times, etc] and includes quotes from hate-filled Democrat malcontents.

    • lysie says:

      Good morning Rav.

Yup! I swear if Trump said the sun was shining (and it was) the press would say it was the moon and that it was night time. No facts…Just opposite rambling.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

That is such a perfect quote from Fernandez, yes! Stupid, feckless politicians…What happened to the Britain who fought a few IRA bombers so effectively?

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Warning Labels…yes, good. I was implying that in my opening to this thread.

  18. Jemian says:

Thank you for starting us off this week.

You are so right: read the news carefully. Not sure I really care to read the alphabets at all. Haters gotta hate.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

You are welcome Jemian Hope all is well with you.

    • Jemian says:

All is well. I am enjoying the first full week of summer break.Hubby and I went off to the big city tonight to enjoy a steak dinner. We are doing tasks for ourselves now that are delayed while school is in session. I am trying to sleep late in the mornings.

    • The Raven says:

Did you see my post yesterday re: Millennials? The student in question is from TN – first was accepted to Yale…then Auburn.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Good to hear Jemian. Late afternoon, and we went to visit an old friend now in an asst. living facility. He seems to be enjoying it! …having lost recently 2 other old friends, we decided not to postpone this visit as Ed is 90 +

    • Jemian says:

Yes, I saw that. Thanks, Rave. To me, of course, it seems like a logical choice. However, I can see where others would be surprised. I am fast coming to the conclusion that it doesn’t really matter where you go to college (as long as it is a good college and not a diploma mill); that it is the person that makes the difference. It’s the networking and connections and a few intangible things that make a good fit or not. War Eagle!
