Molly, we had a long day at the Legion. After several hours of trying, the men decided the soil was toooooo hard to dig holes for posts…even using a two different style gas augers. So, they hired a guy to do it. He has a auger on a bobcat. He said 6 pm. Showed up 9 pm.

Sounds like the place for the pole barn sits on clay/gravel soil. When it’s dry, only a tractor driven auger can penetrate it. When wet, it isn’t much different. Sorry to hear the Bobcat burst a hose. Nuts! Been there done that, with a tractor, when we built the bunkhouse for the men. Clay & Gravel…That’s when I learned we never planted wheat in that field.

Good Morning, lysie, Molly and Rave. It’s a beautiful day in central Texas. Listened to our President yesterday speaking to the UN members and the world. He really put the words down where everyone could understand what has and will be done in the near future. I don’t think we’ve ever had a president speak before the UN like President Trump did yesterday. It was good, because he let the world know, where America stands. We aren’t going to put up with the un shenanigans, expecially trouble makers like N. Korea and Iran.
The more he speaks, the more I like him. Of course I’ve liked his thoughts and speeches from the very beginning in 2016.
