America the Right Way -Staying Vigilant- Dec. 11, 2017 – Dec. 15, 2017 Remember 9/11

Well, the long anticipated Alabama election is Tuesday. But believe me, if Roy Moore wins, the controversy will continue, as the pressure to not seat him will start and grow.

President Trump is making the most of some recent Fake News “mistakes” by CNN, ABC. They seem to be proving his points as we watch these “news” outlets destroy their own credibility.

Good morning…..I just read something sad, if the story is correct…you never know these days…but Miss Iraq and Miss Israel took a selfie together and shared it, and now Miss Iraq fears for her life. The funny thing is…they look like they could be sisters! That may be why they decided to take their picture together ….

  2. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

  3. lysie says:

Morning everyone. Woke up to the Moore news, 12 inches of snow and horrible lower back pain. Ack!

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Boy oh boy, that is not good. Am so sorry about your back. Please, please take care today and even when it begins to get better, be careful

    • lysie says:

Thanks, Molly. I don’t plan on doing much. I won’t be cooking. There are plenty of leftovers in the fridge….(chili and chicken soup).

    • Molly Pitcher says:

That sounds like a good plan….always keep the larder full in the winter! That reminds me…I have been reading a collection of essays by E.B. White (Charlotte’s Web) and many of the essays deal with his learning to run a farm in Maine…the chickens, the lambs, and now he’s getting a cow! Job by job, he describes it all with the eyes of a novice, and it is very eye opening. Plus, it’s early 1942, and he’s part of the local civil defense team and alert system as those along the coast worried very much about an invasion.

    • lysie says:

I have a cousin who is an outstanding ortho surgeon. He and is wife live in Maine and that is what they did a few years ago. They raise these.

    • tillacum says:

So sorry about your back. Stay inside and keep warm. I agree with molly, keep the larder full……at all times, though.
I guess Dog is set up for a hip operation in January.

    • lysie says:

Morning, till. I’m taking it easy.

      Sad to hear about Dog.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Wow, those are some horns! Not Texas Longhorn tho.
Good morning till. Taking advantage of sunshine, no wind, and no snow I was able to run some errands.
Listened to good comments on the radio by a writer at Conservative Review…emphatic that the R establishment are the problem we face. They are just not up to the fight.

    • lysie says:

      The Highland breed.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Yes, that’s it. Thank you. I love the face of the calf…aw….

  4. Molly Pitcher says:

    So what’s happening in Alabama?

  5. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Good morning, and please turn off the **** machine.

    • lysie says:

If I could I would. Believe me. 😉

      Good morning, Molly.

    • lysie says:

Molly, I’m so sorry. Happy Belated Birthday, sweetie.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

      Other bits of news:
The anti Trumpers at the State Dept. are resisting the Jerusalem move.
The NYC bomber was ticked off at all the Christmas posters at that station. And he was a “chain immigrant”
And CNN is whining about Trump’s “bullying” attacks

    • Molly Pitcher says:

That is a lovely greeting. Thanks lysie…it did stop snowing, and I shoveled the front walk and steps as I have a friend coming over for supper. My husband is out of town, and she is missing her late husband on this day, their anniversary.
I loved the Jack Benny piece! Can’t you just hear him: “Now cut that out!” ? He was a very good performer. Anyone could relate to him, as the article describes, even a little girl like me.

    • edinva says:

Molly is this the day to be wishing you a very Merry Birthday ???? May it be sparkling!!

Bitter disappointment! Around 2p today I got a text (because God forbid we should call) from DD, they are in NJ/NY for the week … “oh, did I forget to tell you?” So I feel CHEATED out of my Zoe time!! (Yes, I am so mature!) The French grandmother is in town. I guess she was just sitting around bored, and decided spontaneously to go to DeGaulle and hop a flight to the US.

We will probably still go to the concert at the church, but it was going to be so simple to segue from time with Zoe, a few blocks from the church, vs driving over from VA in rush hour.

Virtually every time I go to NYC (couple of times a year) I walk thru that tunnel where ISIS boy set off his home made bomb this morning. Of course, I am never there at 7am, so there’s that. But I’ve never seen that area not teeming with people, any day of the week, any time of the day … so the fact that at least a dozen or two weren’t killed outright is a miracle. But, after all, it’s Trump’s fault that he was driven to make his bomb and accidentally detonate it in a NYC subway. Everyone knows that.

What to make of the women who are doing an encore on their charges vs. President Trump. If Russia fails, there are always women. So long as Gloria Allred draws breath and George Soros writes checks, there will be women!!!

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Yes, ’tis true, and despite a few “issues”, it’s been another year of blessings. Thanks ED, and so sorry for your disappointment…French grandmas…..hmmph!

  6. lysie says:

Good morning everyone. Thanks for the new thread, Molly.

Hello, ed. Your French Toast casserole should do the trick.

If you have a slow cooker this might work, too.

    Crock pot casserole.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

And thanks for breakfast! I’m afraid you are in the **** zone this week. Not sure we are getting much, but maybe a little.
We can just thing of Raven, and warm up a little, right?

    • lysie says:

      You are welcome, Molly.

Yes. It’s coming down now. Blah!

The libs are going after Moore with the hopes that President Trump is next. Sad.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

The Dems/Leftists are going over the cliff. I will find some pieces later on to link..right now I want to get the turkey soup ( my second batch this winter already) going .

    • lysie says:

Soup and comfort foods..the only good things about winter weather.

    • lysie says:

Thanks for the Jack Benny article. Those were good times. 🙂

    • tillacum says:

Good morning lysie and Molly. Looks like Times Square had an explosion this a.m. One person in custody, with the trigger still attached to him. The fake news outlets are not reporting it, even though it’s ISIS inspired. Only FOX is reporting it. Hmmm.
It’s even cold down here, but will warm up this afternoon. So no golf today, 3 days in a row, although there were some hearty souls playing yesterday.
Stay warm, and have warm tea ready at all times.

    • lysie says:

      Good morning ,till.

Sad to hear that. You and I know who will be blamed because of a recent decision.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Good morning till. Warm tea is the ticket, yes. I will go check out the latest on the NYC bombing.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Oh my…now a late poll signals a large Doug Jones lead. Well we will see. This may impact the tax reform bill as the winner will be seated immediately.
