America the Right Way -Staying Vigilant – November 5, 2018 –November 9, 2018 Remember 9/11

Tuesday will tell the tale: is there another “Red Wave” coming? Those so-called  shy Trump voters may surprise the pollsters and pundits again.

Trump and Pence have gone all out to make it happen in a way unprecedented for a mid-term election. Good for them. Much is at stake.

Perfect for the cold weather…hope you have a good evening….didn’t get all I needed to do today done, but there’s always tomorrow!

    • lysie says:

Thanks, Molly. Going to the Legion. There is a band tonight and Greg has to collect admission money. Hope we don’t have to stay too long. Hopefully we will be home all day and evening tomorrow. Whoopee!

    • The Raven says:

Missed Friday Follies. My better half was walking the dog Thursday night and an armadillo ran by. The dog went crazy and chased. He pulled her down and she had a hard fall into a concrete pond drain. We spent the night in the ER and she came out with a fractured scaphoid in a splint, stitches on a wound above her eye, and lots of pain & black and blue in the whole left side. Orthopedic on Monday. She’s having a hard time with sleep.

Maybe today we’ll just watch football (GA vs Auburn, TN vs KY, AL vs Miss St)

    • edinva says:

oh, how horrible for your wife (and you)! I hope she can heal quickly and completely, Rav. What kind of dog and how big to be able to do that much damage by a hard pull. Wow.

  1. The Raven says:

If you read my post yesterday about this time – it’s all coming true. The Dems are cheating and the Republican National Committee is doing what? Nothing.

Democrats are so embarrassing and what’s going on in these states is proof their leaders are in on it. We need to take a page from their book and march in huge numbers.

    • lysie says:

      Good morning everyone.

It’s what they do Rav. I think I read that Rubio is doing something about it. Too bad he didn’t stand up against the libs before the election.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Broward County, too…having horrible flashback reaction.
UGH! First **** and it has stuck.
Thanks for breakfast and good morning you two.

    • The Raven says:

The left is POURING money to the Democrat lawyers in Florida. The Dems are so corrupt we need a means of cleaning them. In this day in age, why do we still have a voting system that allows tampering?

    • Molly Pitcher says:

And this while AZ is now lost. The RNC needs to have lawyers in place, ready to go under such conditions.

    • The Raven says:

They “found” 78,000 new votes since Election Day, two days ago, in Broward County, and 15,000 more votes in Palm Beach. We don’t know how many more votes that they are going to come up with, but it sure appears that they are going to find as many votes as they can to win the election.

      – Rick Scott

There is no curiosity from the press…….who do we get to police the corrupt Democrats?

    • edinva says:

POTUS told Elias (sleaziest lawyer in all these United States- the one who ordered the “dossier”) that he’s sending BETTER lawyers to stop his fraud. Gov. Scott filed suit, they went to court, Snipes was ordered to release the ballots by 7pm Friday and didn’t comply. She won’t let cameras in as witness do the counting. She has been found to do this before. She should be brought out in cuffs. Earlier a Broward Co employee had signed an affidavit about witnessing election officials filling in blank ballots, and that employee was fired, told not to come back. We need the DOJ in there, just as they went into several Southern states due to actual and perceived violaitons of the Civil Rights Act, and were there for decades. This criminal activity in Broward and Palm Beach is equally a violation of civil rights. Every citizen voter deserves to have his/her ballot counted without dilution by a corrupt elections official.

I want to see all poll registrations wiped cleaner than a Clinton hard drive, and new registrations put into effect with the same requirements as getting a REAL drivers license. Last Tuesday I must have had to hand out a dozen ballots to people who couldn’t say their name or address without help. One woman who was not able to state her name/address went on to ‘spoil’ four ballots before she got it straight (according to the D sample ballot, of course). Not a damned thing I could do. She’s registered. Someone registered her, no doubt illegally … so IMO the bigger fraud takes place at registration, not at the polling place. Of course, in Broward and other D centers it takes place at the counting. Here, our ballots are counted by a machine. We don’t see the ballots once they are cast.

Another gripe: here we have all elections materials in four languages: English/Spanish/ Korean/Vietnamese. The initial dual language (English/Spanish) ballot became law here thanks to a tie-breaking vote by none other than Tim Kaine, who has benefitted greatly from that law. To get US naturalized citizenship one has to pass a relatively easy civics exam. Shouldn’t one be able to at least state their name in English if they are to pass such an exam?

  2. The Raven says:

We need a United Nations armed guard to keep Democrats away from the ballots. (LINK)

Why isn’t anyone keeping the foxes out of hen house? McSally is ahead by 1% and there are 1% ballots out there. So how can the whack-oh win? Watch.

And now, Florida is having a recount. The ballots are like money and should be treated as such. The Dems can slip a few thousand more ballots into the scanners and remove an equal number of R’s. They will find provision ballots and they will lose valid ballots.

    • lysie says:

      Good morning everyone.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

      Good morning. Thanks lysie
I had company here last night, so was busy yesterday doing a little cleaning and prep and resting.
ED We have strong ties to NOLA too, but really don’t miss it that much, except for the food and the lovely gardens and the way they could look in February. And as for Virginia, deep roots there, like your husband’s in MD, & seeing this state, a key part of our country’s history of freedom, choose otherwise is just tragic.

    • edinva says:

Molly, it was the food and fun places but especially our friends who, to me, were NOLA. Incredible people. When DD went down to Tulane, move in weekend, they hosted a beautiful Sunday brunch for several family and friends to introduce her, and gave her a key to their house so if she wanted to get off campus, she had a place to go whether they were home or not. They invited her to all their family occasions over the four years, birthdays/anniversaries/weddings, they’d take her to dinner at their yacht club (which we watched burn down during Katrina). She also babysat some of their grandchildren for nice pocket change, and was invited out to the family plantation at St. Martinsville for the occasional getaway. They truly adopted her, which made her being what at first seemed so far away, so easy on us. They created for her and for us a treasure trove of memories! The other side of NOLA I could have lived without, i.e., the crime. Every student in DD’s small apt building during her senior year had their car broken into, including herself. So I was happy when she left … but still would love to be able to return to visit to see our friends. And dine!!!

    • lysie says:

      Good morning, Molly.

We’ll be leaving to go to The American Legion. Today we are serving Turkey lunch/dinner with all the trimming for the Veterans.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

That sounds yummy! Thank you for doing that. Last night was my husband’s VFW banquet, and tomorrow begins the poppy handout…3 days…brrr, it’s going to be cold out there.

    • Jemian says:

I enjoyed our vacation so very much. Things were much more expensive than I realized, but since we don’t take vacations usually, I think we’ll be okay. It was a delightful experience.

And in breaking news, Ruth Bader Ginsberg has fallen and broken 3 ribs. That must be very painful.

    • The Raven says:

Can you imagine if she retired early due to health? OMG, the libs would go crazy.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Yes, painful, and what caused her to fall? Another issue ? Time will tell, and in the meantime the Left is going crazy worrying.

  3. edinva says:

BTW … did you all hear that one of the celebrants cheering at Mendenzes victory party last night was on his corruption trial jury??? . Should NOT surprise. It’s New Jersey.

    • edinva says:

That made me miss New Orleans!! “Do you know what it means to miss New Orleans?”

Seriously, I do .. when DD was at Tulane we were there a few times a year, then the year after her graduation, when she was in Japan, was Katrina. Our friends were out of their home for two years, 2 of their adult children’s homes were totally destroyed and one whose home survived untouched had to move to TX because his job couldn’t go on in NOLA. Then both of our friends passed away within months of each other, and I would find it too painful to be there without them. But, oh, do I miss it!!

  4. The Raven says:

Nobody is saying it but No blue wave.

Dems did narrowly take the house (majority of only 3 seats so far). We need to ignore them.

R’s pick up 4 Senate seats. MO, FL, AZ went R!!! ND, FL, IN, MO were all flipped. Real tight races in FL, AZ, MT. Blackburn won by 10 points in TN. Runoff in Mississippi will go R and we have 55-43-2 in the Senate!
The Dems schooled the R’s on how to ignore majority and gum up the works. So Trump can ignore their subpoenas and drag out their requests for info. RESIST !!!!

Beto lost but by only 3 points. Feinstein won in California but it was closer than expected

Governors 25 R 20 D. Big news of the night for me: The communist / Soros candidate for Governor in Florida lost. When I went to bed, I thought Guillium won and Scott lost. I couldn’t sleep and didn’t want to get up and find out. Then I did and it was good news.

Walker lost by less than 1% in WI. May be a recount.

Unfortunately we have a stupid system in Florida where people vote on complicated issues. In a representative government we send people to study issues and hear both side. Not here. The put on 13 amendments to the constitution for vote. Crazy. We just gave felons the right to vote. And a bunch of other left wing causes. Horrible.

    • lysie says:

Morning everyone. A good, bad and ugly night I take it.

    • Jemian says:

Lysie, that is my take as well. I see a RAT majority of 219 to 193, with unsettled races out there. A good is there was NO BLUE WAVE, but there was no red wave either. Another good, we still have the Senate which means more judges confirmed and perhaps they can rein in some of the more fool-hardy legislation enacted. The bad is, of course, the Rats have the House. The ugly is Nancy Pelosi is back as Speaker. Well, that last has to be confirmed but is there any doubt? So, we’ll see more Rat dirty tricks, bad legislation put forward, good legislation won’t make it to the floor, and more chaos and obstructionism from the bad guys.

Not only that, but we’re returning home today. I’ve had a wonderful time, both in New Orleans and here in Gulfport and Biloxi. I will never be able to be down here with out remembering our wonderful Gulfcoast6. I walked along the beach in memory. People down here are still talking about the devastation of Katrina and even Camille. I just looked out the window and saw the fish jumping out of the bayou. Beautiful location with lots of live oaks and spanish moss.

    • edinva says:

The best news of the night no one is focusing on is that President Trump will be able to nominate and get confirmed the replacement for Justice Ginsberg. Just the thought makes it all very worthwhile!!!

2nd best news is McCaskill lost. She was so nasty. I think the Rs can call the next Senate the Kavanaugh Senate. The 3 Dems who were unseated all voted against him, and the one D who voted for him held onto his seat.

Sorry to see Scott Walker lost, and that Gov Scott in FL will face a recount. VA is about certifiably blue. Ugh.

Still trying to catch up … yesterday was a long day, as are they all. Our precinct’s turnout was @ 60%. Traffic rarely stopped. But that does help make the day go faster. We had a foggy, rainy day, monsoonish at times, but the day ended with a beautiful clear blue/pink sky. Sort of like the elections themselves… some silver linings in there.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

I hate that Virginia is so blue….remember all the Marylanders who fled that state for to Virginia? Hmmm…

I think we ought to build walls around blue states.

    • edinva says:

Molly, we were among those Marylanders who chose VA to settle. Actually we were in DC and had to choose between MD and VA. DH’s family goes back in MD to before the AmRev, so it was a big deal. VA was lovely then. 2 R Senators, R governor after R governor. We had a R Congressman (a bit of a RINO but not the worst). Now we don’t have a R Congressman for @ 100 miles! Probably better in CA !!! AND I heard yesterday that Amazon is going to have it’s #2 HQ in Crystal City, right by Reagan Airport, directly x the river from DC, next to the Pentagon. That’s the final nail in VA’s political coffin. God help us.

    • Jemian says:

One more thing, why does the AP say the Senate is divided up now at 51 to 45, giving the Rats credit for two independent Senators? IMO, it should be 51-43-2.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

It does seem to be a mixed bag, but very happy about FL, OH staying red….Donnelly, McCaskill and Heitcampf losing. Hope we can hold ontoAZ…. Walker, what a shame, but it guess the wonder is held on so long.

    • lysie says:

So happy you had an enjoyable visit, Jem.

    • lysie says:

Lots of pluses on our side, Rav. Losing the House saddens me.

    • The Raven says:

OMG..Arizona has 1 million uncounted ballots. No way a Republican can win with mega cheaters.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

That is an awful lot. Can’t believe that nutcase would get so many votes.

    • The Raven says:

it was fake news……it is 1% of 1.6 million

    • Molly Pitcher says:

    • The Raven says:

Doggone it … the Dems scrounged up some votes out of nowhere in Montana- Tester won

If Arizona falls… call the cops

    • Jemian says:

Sessions has resigned and Rosenstein is no longer overseeing the Mueller investigation. Also, Muller may have overstepped his authority by beginning to look at Trump’s personal finances. Trump pointed out the investigation is about RUSSIA SOLELY.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

The Clintons are trash on the side of the road. Everybody but them and their closest enablers wants to move on.
We are getting battered by high winds today. ….like any minute we may land in PA.Hate this.

  5. The Raven says:

Conservative tree house nails it….the left media is a lobby group.

Institutionally the media are as cunning and Machiavellian as any modern assembly.

Modern media polling; or early voter analysis, and the outlined opinions of selected stats in a myriad of unidirectional narratives; are exactly akin to lobbyist groups. Loosely defined “lobbying” is: “the act of attempting to influence the actions, policies, or decisions of others.”

    • Molly Pitcher says:

That report covers the whole disgusting affair in all the details. Shame, shame on those who lied, knew they were lying, and yes shame on the gullible ones willing to be used to advance those lies.

    • The Raven says:

Notice the two guys who came forward. I remember one of them was not given much credence but the other one….

The man told the investigators that when he was a 19-year-old college student, he had visited Washington over spring break and kissed a girl he believes was Kavanaugh’s accuser.

“He said that the kiss happened in the bedroom of a house which was about a 15-to-20 minute walk from the Van Ness Metro, that Dr. Ford was wearing a swimsuit under her clothing, and that the kissing ended when a friend jumped on them as a joke,” the report said.

The Van Ness Metro is in Northwest D.C. His name was redacted in the report but investigators interviewed him the day before Ford testified Sept 27.

I can hear the Dems last summer edging Ford on. “You were there when he was. Didn’t you have a bad experience you can blame on him?” “Just be vague on the details and write us a letter.”

      More here

    • Molly Pitcher says:

That story was striking….raises even more doubts as to Ford’s testimony and phony memories.

  6. lysie says:

Lord, we ask that from district to district, region to region and state to state those who carry Your heart, morality, ethics and desire shall be elected. We ask that President Donald J. Trump would have the men and women in Congress that are necessary to fulfill Your purpose in him and through him. We ask, Lord, that Your name would be glorified again within the United States of America and the values cherished by You would be upheld and re-established in our nation.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

      Amen and amen
      Beautifully expressed lysie

    • lysie says:

Great and huge group at the rally in Cleveland.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Great…we went out in the car and I forgot all about it

    • edinva says:

      Amen, Amen …
Glad I’ll be sequestered at the polls all day tomorrow. This will be my last rodeo. Too old, too tired and the days are too long. By the time I get home after 15 hours or so, I usually don’t care how the elections went but tomorrow night i will probably stay up well past midnight, going close to the full 24 hours, It’s amazing how President Trump works and works, and keeps going like the Energizer Bunny. He’s just amazing.

Had a little online exchange with a leftie woman I know. Her normal masque is Pollyanna until it comes to President Trump and, for whatever reason, Brett Kavanaugh. A mutual friend posted about the criminal referral of the woman who acknowledges she was angry and made up her rape allegation vs K. So I posted mockingly in reply “you have to BELIEVE THE WOMEN!!” So said lefty proceeds to tell me that that woman never became part of the Committee hearing, it was all a diversion set up to make the women who came forward look bad. Tell that to Kamala Harris. Well, yours truly wasn’t taking that lying down and replied that these women, among them, had not one shred of evidence. NOT ONE. Then I went on about Ford’s new best friend trying to bully her old best friend (and would-be corroborator) to change her testimony. That woman, Monica McLean, has now received her very own criminal referral. I suggested there is a pattern of lying among the women and that the only reason he believes Ford is because she WANTS to. Also wished her sons well in case any women like that ever decide to harm them. I now wonder who will give up whom, will McLean give up Ford to save her healthy federal pension? Will Ford say McLean who was still bristling from the Trump victory (as is Ford), put her up to it? Time will tell.

Hopefully we all have a happy day tomorrow and for the coming two years with a nice R Congress.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Very good ED, you spoke up for the truth. Hope your day tomorrow isn’t too tiring

    • The Raven says:

“You’ll have to forgive Kellyanne and I. We’re a little speechless because we’re not used to friendly crowds,”

PS: Useful voter fraud link here

    • Molly Pitcher says:

      That’s a good,funny comment.

  7. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

  8. The Raven says:

DId Munro-Leighton have a little help from Kamala Harris to fabricate her lie against Brett Kavanaugh?

  9. lysie says:

Good morning everyone. Molly, we’ll stay on this thread. It will be fine.

  10. edinva says:

Both sides are really beating the bushes to get out the vote. This past Tuesday I had to attend an election official meeting and we were told as of then @ 10% of registered Fairfax County voters had voted absentee or absentee in person. That’s with 5 days then remaining for absentee in person, and 8 days for absentee ballots to get into the electoral board. Still, it’s going to be a busy, long day on Tuesday .. and honestly, Im grateful for that, I won’t have time to obsess. Our area is hopeless but once you get 35 miles outside DC it becomes reasonable BUT .. the Northern Virginia (near DC) area is where the population is. Like most states, the population is in and around a major city or two.
