America the Right Way -Staying Vigilant –May 13, 2019 – May 17, 2019 Remember 9/11

Hello!

Elections will soon take place in Great Britain for that country’s representatives to the EU, and there are signs that another anti-EU vote is coming. The Brits keep sending a BREXIT message, and their Parliament keeps ignoring it. So we will see what happens this time. The first BREXIT vote was almost 3 years ago.

In this country, Joe Biden seems to be polling very well, while Sanders loses steam. But the first primaries are still months away. What a long ordeal these campaigns and elections seem to be.

    Good morning everyone.

    RAV REVIEWS

The campaign kickoff immediately prompted howls of scorn and derision — from the far right to the far left — and strikingly brought NYPD cops and Black Lives Matter activists shoulder to shoulder in a unified front … Mayor Bill de Blasio pulled off an impossible feat Thursday by uniting Americans of all persuasions — against his quixotic presidential bid.

    – NY Post

Our friends at the New York Post greeted his candidacy with a front page of people laughing at the news. … He has no chance of winning, but we’ll break our longtime policy and consider an endorsement if he resigns as mayor while he’s running. … Mr. de Blasio now wants to fail upward to the White House, which is another expression of the progressive mind. Skip town and let someone else clean up the mess.

    – WS Journal Ed.

What all New Yorkers want to know is this: When is Mayor Bill de Blasio going to find the time to run for president, given his busy schedule of sleeping in and working out?

My brother was talking about this Hungarian pastry place near Cleveland. I may check it out if I cheat on my diet next time I’m in the area. Definitely not low-carb!

  4. lysie says:

    Good morning everyone.

    • lysie says:

Molly, your A/C link…hope Trump will be successful. I say to the politicians and regulators…you first.

    • The Raven says:

If you were the Republican chair of the Senate Intellegance Committee…..what would you do when the Rusiian hoax is exposed?

1.Celebrate the total exoneration of the President of the false charges made against him by Democrats and their lying mainstream media transcriptionists?

      Or

2.Decide to play along with the Democrats’ craven and malicious effort to keep the lie alive by subpoenaing Don Jr. to testify again about claims made by Federal Convict #86626, aka Michael Cohen, currently a resident of the old stoney lonesome for lying to Congress, as part of an attempt to frame the President’s son for perjury?

    • lysie says:

#1 for sure. I’m fed up with the RINOs.

    • Jemian says:

Any sane and real conservative would pick #1, but Mitt McCain picks #2 every time.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

That is so true! How’s your shoulder Jemian? And Question #2: Are you making plans to return to the mission field?

    • Jemian says:

I’m glad you asked because I totally have forgotten my exercises today. The therapists have cut my visits down to once a week. It is helping very much. Last month I couldn’t use that arm to brush my hair, and now I can. The motion isn’t totally back, but there is improvement.

And, we are in transition mode. Last week we contracted, verbally, for a house to live in. Don’t have any furniture yet, but we have a house now. I found out our dog is still alive. That is reassuring. We’re in the last bit of traveling and giving reports. We weren’t able to schedule trips to Wisconsin and San Diego, but maybe next time.

Hubby will travel first and I will go about 6 weeks later. At least that is the plan of the moment.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Thanks for the news Jemian…transitions….And your shoulder! Great progress. It’s easy to forget exercises I find…

As the hometown paper and preferred foil, let us explain why Democrats across America shouldn’t waste time or money on this guy. He is both incompetent and crooked; oblivious and arrogant.

NY Post on Bill DeBlasio running for president.

You know, there is some financial benefit to running that we don’t know about. Why else would he run?

  6. lysie says:

Good morning everyone. Sad about Tim Conway. Great entertainer.

  7. lysie says:

Good morning everyone. Rain, rain go away!

  8. The Raven says:

    Well, ain’t this special

Ohio’s Mason High will eliminate valedictorian honor in effort to improve students’ mental health
Cleveland Brown’s QB has issue with it.

I believe the millennial’s most used phrase will be “I’m sorry you feel that way”

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Good for the football player! Nice to hear some common sense expressed. This will probably be a big topic on the local radio today. Always interesting to hear us “deplorables” express ourselves.

  9. lysie says:

Good morning everyone. Thanks for the new thread , Molly.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

Hi lysie…you are welcome. We have another day of gloom and rain it seems…well, there is plenty to do inside, sigh.

    • Jemian says:

      Good morning!

Although, another screen legend, Doris Day, has passed away at age 97. She was marvelous.

    • The Raven says:

Judicial Watch and Trump are taking swipes at FBI director Wray. I found this snippet in Wikipedia

On June 9, 2003, President George W. Bush nominated Wray to be the 33rd Assistant Attorney General in charge of the Criminal Division of the Justice Department. Wray was unanimously confirmed by the Senate on September 11, 2003. Wray was Assistant Attorney General from 2003 to 2005, working under Deputy Attorney General James Comey. While heading the Criminal Division, Wray oversaw prominent fraud investigations, including Enron. Wray nearly resigned alongside then FBI Director Robert Mueller and Deputy Attorney General James Comey due to illegal surveillance techniques the Bush administration had put in place. In March 2005, Wray announced that he would resign from his post. His last day at the Justice Department was on May 17, 2005.

    • Molly Pitcher says:

I was a little dubious when Wray was appointed to this post he now holds.

Doris Day, RIP. She brought a lot of smiles to her large audience.

    • Jemian says:

I am wiped out at the moment. I have been working on a graphics design all day, revamping our prayer cards, and I have been back and forth to the web to get the fonts, colors, and logos from the organization. A close read of the guidelines was also done to make sure I got everything right. Then, ask permission to print it myself. Yay! Miracle of miracles, I actually heard back from them today! Also, everything is a go! No complaints, nor corrections. That, frankly, is almost unheard of. So, off to the printers in the AM.

I can’t figure out what is going on. Is the noose tightening on some RATS? If so, who? Who are the bad guys in all that Russian Hoax brouhaha? Also, other than Trump and Melania, who are the good guys?
